Best Answer: I love these hoof picks. I like the larger handle, as it's easier to grip. For the price, I usually get 3 or 4 at a time. The only thing that wears down is the brush. It's very stiff when new, but we use the brush on all the hoofs after we've picked. So of course the bristles start to break down slightly. But we can probably use it for over 6 months, then rotate it out as an extra pick. The pick itself should last years.
