Have had my 13 year old Spanish Barb Gelding on this for about a year because he had intermittent runny butt, It stopped it. I took him off of it for a few months and he got runny butt again. He had been wormed before putting him on Probios and that did not stop the runs. I'm sold on this product!!

Had a horse colic for the 1st time in over 6 years, not sure what caused the colic, but this certainly couldn't hurt her diet and alot cheaper than the vet bill or having meds around to treat colic.

My horse loves these. I sneak his Prascend pill with a Probios and give him another treat to follow. No problems as he loves these.

What is the difference between the soft chews and the probiotic horse treats?
Marianna W on Jul 5, 2016
Probios Probiotic Horse Treats
Probios Probiotic Horse Treats
Probios Horse Soft Chews
Probios Horse Soft Chews
BEST ANSWER: The Soft Chews contain more probiotics per piece. I recommend the Soft Chews if you are addressing a specific issue such as loose manure (my TB's issue). In my opinion the Treats are just that....treats that are a bit healthier than straight horse cookies. I have been using Probios Soft Chews for about 3 yrs & am very satisfied with how my horses respond. I am never without them in the barn.
Does probiotics come in pill form?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: not to my knowledge, they come in biscuit like treats or chewy balls, horses love them and I had a mare with very bad upset tummy problems & had her on them for several years till I recently lost her and I saw a big difference if she was without them even for 2 days. I highly recommend them definitely worth getting them and I give them to my other healthy horses. I am a HUGE fan of this product. Jax, FL
how long does one pound last?
SUSAN M on Apr 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Actually, I haven't counted the wafers, but they seem to last quite awhile if you're only feeding one horse. Also, they did help a gelding I had who's stomach seemed a little "off". I'd give him two or three wafers when I caught him, and they really made his stomach more comfortable.
about how many are in there?
keythe k on Aug 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Don't remember. They went pretty quickly though, he loved them.
