Not very durable
These lasted a week on my mare out in the pasture. The rubber is not very durable big chunks chipped off the bottom edge.

Very durable Velcro on these boots. Made nicely, working really well on my horse! Good fit also.
Great Quality and Customer Service
I really like the quality of these bell boots. They are easy to put on, take off, and look really nice. I accidentally ordered a size too big based on the measurements - I needed them long enough to protect his shoes which they were, but the Velcro is not adjustable at all smaller so the tops were just too big for him. Stateline customer service was fantastic in refunding my purchase and assisted in finding another boot that would meet my needs.
Didn't even last 20 minutes
One of the bell boots ripped in half near the stitching of the Velcro within 20mins of first use. Not useable now. Disappointing purchase.
Perfect yet simple bell boots!
I bought these boots because I am on a budget yet I needed a pair of boots to protect my horse from clipping himself. I ride English and these boots match with everything, plus they do the job! They do run big, my 15.3 hand horse normally wears a large, I bought a second pair in medium and they fit much nicer. They do turn, but it doesn't change the result as far as protection. I highly recommend these affordable and easy to clean bell boots.
Great bell boots.
My horse seems to forget where he places his feet, which does. It fair well for his legs and shoes. These Bell boots are excellent. They seem very durable and fit well. I expect they will last quite a bit longer than my last pair. Will definitely buy again.
Didn't last

Great bell boots good price
These are very sturdy rubber boots and the velcro is strong. We used these to trailer the horse with standing wraps and they worked great.

These are quality bell boots for a reasonable price. I love the feel of them - not stiff at all. They are very flexible, but sturdy. The velcro holds them on well and my horse seems very comfortable in them. I have a 15 h quarter horse and the medium fits him perfectly. Love them!
Very difficult to slip on. But once on works great. My horse always clips his front shoes off. Since he has been wearing these Bell Boots he hasn't lost a shoe.
Too fragile for a horse.
These boots looked great at first but after 2 days the seam holding the velcro came undone. These are for horses and the seams should be sturdier.
These bell boots are well made and the rubber is fairly thick.
My horse is hard on bell boots out in the pasture, but these bell boots have not shown any wear and tear. They are made of smooth thick rubber and the Velcro sticks great.
The rubber is very thick which helps it to last.
My mare keeps bell boots on 24/7...she tends to be a habitual shoe puller. Due to the amount of time and use her bell boots get, I have found that the stitching isn't as strong as it needs to be for that continuous, long, hard use. I wish they'd either double or triple stitch where the velcro attaches to the rubber. However, they do stay on 24/7 for about 2 months or so before she needs a new pair; and being the pricing is decent, I don't mind the purchase.
These actually last!
I have a horse who is hard on bell boots! He forges and is out in a 5 acre paddock with another horse. They are always running and he tore off several pairs of bell boots in just a week. These have lasted more than a month now. I like the fleece lined boots for dry weather, and the regular ones for after rain.
Awesome product
I purchased the XL bell boots for my Percheron. I have gone through several of the foam type bell boots because she just keeps tearing them up. I was going through a set of the foam bell boot every 3 to 4 weeks. These seem to be holding up well. I have had them on her now for 3 weeks and there are no tears. The fit looks good. The rubber is very pliable even in the cold.

My horse has egg bar shoes so he needs boots on always. These last the longest out of all that I've tried.

BEST ANSWER: I have a gypsy cross and I bought XL, I could have gotten a size bigger. So if you have a large draft go xxl if you have a smaller breed then I suggest buying 2 pairs and returning the ones that don't fit.

Are these constructed to stay in place with the velcro on top, notch that fits underneath to prevent from rotating?
BEST ANSWER: I have never had a bell boot with the notch big enough to fit my warmblood. These don't have the notch but I like the bell boot. You do get some rotation but that limits friction and hair loss. They are very durable and I use in his turnout daily. I'm really pleased with them.

Can bell boots be use for horses that has no shoes and to be protected from trailering?
BEST ANSWER: Yes! Bell boots just help with overstride (the hind legs hitting the front heels) and if your jumping it helps protect some of the front hoof if you hit the poles. If your worried about pawing on the trailer and potential abscessing, I would suggest getting your horse a pair of Soft Rides.

Yes. I use bell boots when trailering whether the horses have shoes or not. The bell boots protects
them from stepping on & hurting themselves (coronary band) should we encounter rough roads.
Gelding is shod in front & mare barefoot.
