Product Summary:

Professionals Choice Full Leg Ice Boot

These full height ice boots are designed to apply cold therapy from the knee down or from the hock down. They feature a neoprene exterior with insulated pockets retaining a non-toxic solution.  When frozen, these pockets remain flexible, providing comfort while increasing therapy time. A smooth nylon lining prevents shavings and other debris from sticking to the boots while also eliminating the risk of damaging skin from direct exposure to ice. Elastic hook and loop straps allow for easy and secure application.  To activate, place boots in the freezer until frozen.  Once the boots are frozen, they can be transferred to an ice chest or cooler for application at a later time.  For a longer lasting cold therapy session, wet your horse’s legs before application. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee/Six-Month Warranty or as required by law. Sold in pairs.

what do they help with?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My horse had a severe hock injury about 3 years ago and I use them after competition to ice the hock, ankle and coronet band. Most professional athletes use ice after competion to maintain joint and muscle health and I have found these boots to be very helpful in that respect. They are easy to use, store well and the small squares of cooling gel make overall coverage of the area better. Tooke me awhile to figure the best way to apply them, but once that was accomplished I find my horse rehabs very well. Hope this answers your question.
