I haven't used these before, but have used other Professionals Choice split boots and been very happy with them. I'm hoping these hold up a little longer than the soft side PC splint boots, while providing a tad more protection for my filly.

what size horse do these fit? I don't see a sizing cart
jennsaddler on Sep 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Two adjustable hook and loop fasteners stay securely closed and fit a variety of horses. Size Medium is recommended for the front and Size Large is recommended for the hind.
Do these boots pick up plant burrs or stickers? Looking for some good trail protection. TIA!
LYSSA D on Aug 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have not used this product on trail rides with my horse. But, the lycra material of these boots is soft and likely to have plant burrs or stickers catch and adhere to it. I do really like these boots for they fit my horse very well and do recommend the product overall.
What do you use for the back a different thing or a bigger size, my horse usually uses a medium for front and back ?
Jonelle on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I go up one size for the backs. I really like these, they don't inhibit their movement at all and they stay in place without rubbing or turning and I don't have to cut off their circulation to keep them in place. Other styles I've tried is a fight to just get them on. These he doesn't mind.
are this boots for race ?
Jose V on Mar 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I my opinion these boots are for protection against the leg getting hit by the other hoofs or objects. They are not about support. Try the Elites for support for racing!
You will love them. I use these for mild exercising and trail riding. They are wonderful for that!
I have a 17 hand warm blood will a large boot fit ?
A shopper on Apr 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We raised Trakehners and Dutch WBs for years and yes, the larges fit the front legs of all our horses. So unless your horse has exceptionally thick bone, large should work. They’re great boots with some stretch to the fabric and lots of space for adjusting the Velcro.
i have a 16.3 HH OTTB and i need splint boots that will help protect his lower legs in dressage and jumping in the show ring? can i count on these to protect?
A shopper on Mar 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Short answer: yes. I love mine. They’ve been very durable, clean up easily and can be adjusted to a customized fit. Just be aware that these are splint boots and provide only the protection the design affords. If you want boots to specifically support tendons/suspensories then go for sport medicine boots... or polo wraps.
What are the actual dimensions of the Medium and Large? My mare has tall but narrow hind legs.
Tiffany H on Jul 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The boots I purchased were for the front legs on an Arab gelding. I think I got a medium. BUT these are adjustable. I would feel comfortable getting a large for the hind legs.
