Sizing Guide:
Measure from (A) at the center point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, and to (B) at the rear of the hind leg. Rambos are sized in three-inch increments. When you have the measurement, choose the nearest from the table (see Downloadable Resource-Sizing Guide). If you measure between sizes, round down for Rambo® blankets.

Please note:
Make sure that the tail is lifted over the fillet strap and that the strap is securely attached on both sides. This will prevent the blanket from blowing forward. Where possible pull the tail through the strapping on the inside of the tail flap.
When closing the surcingles on a blanket secure the middle one first, and then cross over the two outer surcingles. Make sure the surcingle hangs at least 4 to 8 inches below the horse's belly.

Nicely made
The material rides above the horse and is not a soft as some other sheets but it is well made and keeps the flies off. The belly band includes velcro which helps keep it in place. The neck is a little short. It washes well and has held up nicely all summer. The mare does sweat when the temp is over 90 which is most of the time in MO. The fit is not that great. Not only does it slide back but the chest portion is very narrow even on my narrow chested mare. I do not use the top neck connectors as it pulls to much while grazing. I found the sheet and neck piece in two separate piles in the pasture as the mare was able to rid herself of it entirely while all the closures where still connected. I'm just glad I did not see the process she went thru to achieve this. The butt strap is ridiculous as it just collects urine and manure. Because I do not use it maybe that is how she wriggled out of it.

Doesn’t rub like others. I like that it protects the belly and covers lower on the legs than other fly sheets.

Good product!
Ultra-tough fabric. He rolls in it and brushes through vines and mesquite bushes, and wears it for days and nights at a time, because I don't live on my acreage and can't go out but twice a week to check on him. He has very sensitive skin and needs the insect barrier. Really helps with the fly welts. Doesn't wad up on his neck and he wears it without the halter or fly mask. I'm in sunny, sultry, hotter-n-hell Texas, and as long as there are shade trees and a wisp of a breeze, he stays in it. Has to. Good investment for him and me. Would buy again. It has lasted thru 2 seasons without major need of repair under extra-tough usage. Starting to use it again this year. No signs of failure yet. Good product!

Good product but...
It's tough. It breathes as well as anything you'll put on a horse. It's finished out nicely, and works great even at keeping the Texas giant horseflies from getting through, but IMHO the "No-Fly Zone" is a gimmick. The flies crawl all over it and come back again and again looking for a drink of blood. They don't know they're crawling on a chemically impregnated garment, but mostly they don't succeed.

Have had this same sheet for a few years and loved it. It is well made and very durable.

This is the second such fly sheet purchased for my 29 year old stallion. He almost wore the first one out from an early Spring purchase - however, this blanket is tough and protects him from insects like no other blanket ever has. It was also wonderful to find a price break on this very pricey fly sheet during the summer months!

Is this fly sheet a money back guarantee? Mine turns on my horse and puts pressure on his right shoulder.
A shopper on Jul 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This sheet does not have a money back guarantee.
How much UV protection does this blanket have?
Olivia P on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My fly sheet kept my horse black all summer. His lower leg was bleached out to brown by the sun. Huge difference. Glad I had the flysheet.
Does the neck cover attach via velcro or clips to the sheet? (or neither?) And does it have a strap at the top to connect to a halter so it doesn't slip down?
A shopper on Apr 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It does attach at the withers via sturdy velcro. I can't remember specifically about the attachment to a halter, but I can say I've turned my horse out in it overnight, many times, with no halter on and it stays up very well. The material is substantial and has enough stiffness to hold its shape. It drops an inch or two on my thoroughbred-index quarter horse's neck, but no more. And he wears it for as long as a week at a time without taking it off, because I don't live on my acreage, and he is very sensitive to flies and rain itch. It really helps with reducing the fly welts. It had a few minor pulls from all the brambles and mesquite thorns we have, but it held up well for the entire season last year and looks as if it will go 'til fall this year too. Really a tough product. Worth the money, in my opinion.
