Best, easiest, and cheapest bit guards out there.
It took seconds to cut this down to fit an odd sized rubber mini/shetland bit. It worked perfectly with the Weaver CP Rubber mouthed driving bit on Cindy. This was a very inexpensive but well made rig and Cindy loved it (pictured her first time pulling the sleigh)

Solid and stout!
These are solid and stout but yet comfortable for my horses mouth. They are easy to remove for cleaning.

Easy On and Off
I like these bit guards as they are very easy to take on and off. Also seem very durable and expect they will last a long time. Would recommend this product.

Not bad
I got these because my bit rings are way too huge for any other bit guard. They are kind of difficult to button, but once they're on, you're golden. They seem nice and durable and have sizing options for thicker or thinner bits. They flex a little bit in and out but once you get the bit in the horse's mouth, they straighten out.

Great bit guard that you can get on all bits.
It seems to be very durable, and snaps securely into place. Worked well with my noseband snaffle that you cannot get a solid guard on. Also has cutouts so that it will fit everything from a small snaffle to a larger bit.

Great idea, but so flimsy my horse worked it into his mouth the second time I used it and chewed it all up.

Super easy to use
These bit guards are by far my favorite. They're really great for changing in between bits, and protect really well. They also don't come unclipped and fall of while riding, which is really nice.
Better protection and lasts longer than any other product
These are easily interchangeable between bits. They last much longer than any other guards that I've used.

I love this bit guard and so does my horse. It was super easy to attach to the bit and protects my horses mouth completely.

I have used many bit guards in the past. My tack room is filled with "gag bits" and I feel it very important to use bit guards because of the likely hood of corners of mouths being pinched. The design of these, particularly the diameter of the hole around the bit give the horse optimum protection against pinching as the bit slides up and down the shank. The overall size of the bit guard is also well designed because it's difficult for the horse to get it in his mouth and chew it!

amazing! just what i was hoping for :) its not too thick so it doesnt change the mouthpeice by much, really easy to put on and take of of any bit, buttons are very secure... i love it! these are the only bit gaurds i will ever by. i hightly recomend these

The material is very flexible. More like rubber. Snap system is well designed.

BEST ANSWER: Made of a soft rubber. Easy to put on and take off. Just be careful not to pull too hard on the little rubber knobs that connect the two sides together. I pulled too hard and broke one off..Since, then I've been more careful and they work great!

They are a soft rubber, ridged so they do what they are made for but soft that they won't r 7b the side of the horses mouth. Have been happy with them since you can put them on and take them off easy.
These are rubber. They are kind of big and I thought they were a little thick for the type of bit that I was using.
A flexible material but I am not sure what. I returned them since they were huge for my 14.2 hand horse.
Rubber - they are SO easy to use and we are happy with the durability as well as the price.
