Was looking for a saddle pad that was contoured for my trail saddle and non slip.
NANCY C on May 24, 2019
My Fjordx has mutton withers and this is the best pad I have found for a short backed mutton withered horse. Stays in place and does the job perfectly!

I have one of these and needed others for my new saddle and one of my other saddles. Sure wish you had more color selections though. I have a black white and brown spotted saddle horse I was buying for and really liked the crow rust color which wasn't available.

Good price, great quality and many colors to choose from!
Shirley G on Feb 13, 2018
I had and still have one that I bought years ago. It has been the best pad I have bought to date. But it needs to be replaced and I am going to buy another one. Definately would recommend this pad.

I love the Tacky Too pads and have used them for the last four years. I recently changed saddles and wanted a more contoured saddle to match my gaited horse saddle.
Kenny K on Nov 28, 2017
I chose this because the description said it was 30" long. It wasn't. 28.5" at most. Will use it with another saddle I guess.
Thomas S on May 26, 2017
I didn't buy this colour!
Jennifer C on Apr 5, 2017
I love the tacky underside and it fits well on my Rocky Mountain horse. The colors look great on him too.
Dawn G on Mar 21, 2017
Love the curved center - fits very well. The tacky bottom stays in place on my mutton withered, barrel backed gelding.

It should be a perfect compliment to my Bob Marshall Treeless Sport Saddle. I like the contour, with no stiff or gel padding and the "sticky" bottom will help hold that treeless in place on my little, round-bodied mustang!

Is this pad well cushioned? I intend to use it in endurance riding and want something soft and shock absorbing.
Moose on Oct 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This pad is used by a lot of long riders...mostly trail. Overall it has performed well.
How thick is this saddle pad?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is approximately an inch thick, it fits well underneath my saddle and gives cushion without being bulky!
What is the length down the spine? I have ashort backed Arabian and use a Circle Y round skirt saddle
Linda M on Apr 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 30 L" x 34 W" x 3/4" thickness.
What is the total thickness of this pad? I'm looking for one 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch.
GLORIA B on Apr 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My wife Therese, purchased this pad and states its about 3/4 of an inch
Will this pad work well with a treeless saddle?
GLORIA B on Apr 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It should. Treeless saddles do roll or twist AA little during mounting. I have found I don't have to cinch so tight with the tacky pad
How long from the front to the back is this pad?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Front to back is 34".
Is this 34" long or wide?....
Suzie on Jul 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: When open and laying on its "spine", the pad is 28" long. It's about 33" wide measured at the widest spot on the "wings".
Type of material that touches the horses back is it like a honeycomb non slip?
Sharon M on Feb 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Like a honeycomb. Horse gets very sweaty underneath, but there is nothing to wick it away. I took a picture for you, but it doesn't seem to load into here. Maybe a better question would be has this very pretty saddle pad solved your saddle slippage issues in any way... and the answer would be, sadly no. It's attractive and fairly easy to clean./Users/SusanHastings/Downloads/IMG_4032.JPG
Do you have this in the Crow Rust pattern?
Claudia C on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I apologize, at this time we do not.
Will the length be good for my Big Horn 1664?
A shopper on Jan 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the rounded back one (my saddle has rounded skirt) it fits great with it. Its a great pad, cleans well
Is this for the Circle Y gated saddle? My saddle rolls and moves forward.
Joanne J on Dec 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: While there are several possible reasons that your saddle rolls and moves forward, I will tell you that this pad works for us very well on our horses that are very round, and do not have much wither. We use our own custom built and designed trail saddles that stay in place no matter the build of the horse, but the TackyToo pad stays put and allows cool air to circulate under the saddle, particularly if you tuck it up into the gullet. It's a great pad for the price, though if you are going to use it hard, it won't be real durable for a long time.
fit a mule ?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use on a wide Quarter horse and a narrow racking horse. Fits them well. Sorry, no mule experience.
Does this pad fit well under a round skirted western saddle, or does it drop too far down on the sides? (I typically use a 30x30 inch pad, but my new saddle is short all the way around.)
Jennie on Oct 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: i use the pad on a "skirtless" saddle and it is a very short/trim fit for it, so I think on a rounded skirt, you would not have any extra overhang that will be problematic.
How severely contoured is this pad? I have a fairly mutton withered, barreled shaped horse. Her back is fairly flat, but still has a little shape. Some contoured pads seem designed for really high withers and hips and buckle up on her back. How does this one compare?
Jennie on Oct 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have to admit I've had such a crazy busy summer that we didn't get to get the horses out at all so I didn't get to try the pad yet.
Does it fit a tucker full skirt saddle?
A shopper on Aug 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't think so. Only has about 2 inches all around the saddle on my Tucker round skirt.
Does this pad have a spine relief channel?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The padding on each side of the pad doesn't go all the way to the seam down the back (if that makes sense). This is the only pad we use for my husband's Circle Y saddle, because of the saddle's design flaw. The sadde will rub our horse's spine if we don't use a pad that keeps the ground seat well off his back. We replace this pad every 2 years or so, and we trail ride 8 hours per week.
Will this pad work under a Square skirted saddle?
Briar on Feb 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Absolutely. I've had no fit problems with it regardless of shape/type of Saddle.
Is this a western saddle pad?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think it will fit a round skirt western saddle. I use mine with my Bob Marshall Endurance saddle.
Will this work with a Circle Y saddle?
Judy ` on Oct 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depends on what you want. I bought this pad because my saddle is a contour shape like the pad and I did not want a square pad that hung way out past the shape of the saddle. This pad also had the long front end which worked well under the longer rigging on my saddle. I have a Circle Y Gaited Flex 2 contour saddle.
Your measurements for this pad are different than the manufactures website. Can you tell me what the actual mesurements should be for this pad?
Kathleen C on Jul 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's 30' long and 34' wide.
