These have held up great! Yea, the neoprene gets hot but not much you can do about that but hose their legs off after. I have a 16-16.1h OTTB and the 1 size fits him perfectly. I will be getting a white pair next!

My horse paddles slightly with her front legs at the trot so I am getting her a set of open front boots to protect her legs.

I chose the because my friend bought a pair from here and she loves them! My horse needs for protection for his tendons and such for jumping, so I bought these boots for the safety factor. And my friends have worked perfectly. She has had them for a year and they are still is amazing condition!

How do you know what size you are getting??
A shopper on Nov 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The 4 pairs I purchased were horse sz. They fit my horses, 14.3paint to 17 hand WB
Would these boots be too big for a 14.2-14.3 hand horse?
Marissa B on Jan 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I bought the horse size and they just fit my 16.3h mare, but she doesn't have huge legs. If you have a large boned pony they would work. In fact, a set is being used on a large pony at the barn who is 1/2 QH and so has normal horse sized bone, but I wouldn't by for a fine boned TB or Arab or Welsh pony.
I have a 13.2 pony for jumping will these fit her?
sara j on May 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These fit my 17H warm blood so unless the pony is very stocky I would guess they are too large.
i have a 15.3 quarter horse, will these fit him?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will! I use them for my 15 hh small boned quarter horse and also for my 16 hh paint mare. These are stretchy and made to fit several different size horses. Love mine!!
Would these boots fit my 15h quarter horse?
Kassidy L on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think so - the velcro has nice breadth to it - there are days that my horse is a little stocked up and I need to go a little wider. Because of the double velcro, the boots allow for some size variance.
Do the white ones stain or can you wipe/hose them off?
Z W on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They're plastic-y material on the outside so you should just be able to clean them with a damp cloth (I've got the navy ones and they clean up well).
what size are they?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Here are some measurements to help you figure it out. In general, these have fit both of the warmbloods I've been riding, one petite - 16h and 16.2 Hope this helps!! Size Large: Front boots--- Overall, 10 1/4" tall
At top: 7", then open front. At middle: 7" then open front/velcro. At widest part of the bottom: 9 3/4". The middle velcro is 5 1/2" long, of which 4" is velcro. The hind boots: Overall 6 1/4" tall, the bottom widest part is 10 1/2" wide.

Hope that helps!!
what size are these boots ?
Heidi M on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would say maybe a large I have a 15.1 paint and they were a little too big for him.
will these fit my 14'3 pony?
Julia E on Jul 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I've used them on horses ranging from 15'3 to 16'2. If your pony's legs are short or narrow they would be too big. If your pony has a little bit stockier legs they may work.
Will these boots fit my 15hh Arabian? We plan on eventing this year and need some boots.
Horse P on Jan 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I ended up buying 2 sets of the Eskadron boots. Much better quality. They fit my super skinny legged 17.1hand OTTB.
Is this navy a true navy or a royal blue?
A shopper on Oct 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The color as picture is navy, it has a shine to it and in light can appear lighter.
are the colors different sizes?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No it’s just one size, they’re full size which should fit horses between 15-17 hands. Good luck, I love mine.
I have a 15.3 draft cross. Big boned. Do you think they would be too small?
Katie P on Nov 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello!! Sorry for the delay!
Here are some measurements to help you figure it out.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Do these boots contain Neoprene material?
Shelby S on Oct 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I don't have the boots any longer so cannot say for sure. From what I can remember, they did have some insulating/padding, but cannot remember the composition. (I would have thought the manufacturer/supplier was in a better position to answer this question). However, the boots were good quality and fit my mare very well.
are these boots for ponies?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I got a pair in Navy and they fit my 17.2hh app/TB perfectly, so I'd guess they will be too big for a pony, unless they have very thick legs.
Would this fit my 15.1h arabian?
A shopper on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They fit my 16.1 "typey" Thoroughbred perfectly. I think they might be a bit big if your 15.1 Arabian has narrow legs, especially the hind boots. It's more about the legs than the height.
How exactly do these boots go on and are they only for the front?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hmmm--there are 4. . .so 2 are for the front and two are for the back. The velcro strap that says Roma is on the outside of the leg. Long ones go in front. The velcro straps come around the front of the leg and attach, then the strap that says Roma comes down over the top of them. They are form fitting so it is fairly easy to figure out where they should be placed on the leg.
I have an 11 hand pony will these him?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't think they would - they may be a little big. They fit my 17h tb
