Works for us...fleece comfort at top that does not wear out or fray with use; loose fit (not fitted around leg), good product for low cost. Have worn out several pairs over the years. Hope this style does not go out of production.

I like these wraps as they are light, give good air flow, and dry quickly. They hold up well for one season, and usually part of a second season. Given the reasonable price, I find them to be a good value.

Had a set from way back- worked great wanted to have a back up pair when they are being washed. They cover well and are well tolerated. Used to cover wound to keep flies off and it did the job- allowing air allowing to stay somewhat clean and for sure fly free.

Good deal for my full size donkey whose legs get chewed up by flies every summer

My donkeys are pretty small. They aren't miniature, but I worry about the wraps being too big for their tiny little legs. Will they fit?

BEST ANSWER: The challenge I see would be the amount of velcro that would be available to hold them in place. You could sew a seam or two vertical from top to bottom and take up the excess fabric. If you added the seam, I would sew it so that the excess mesh fabric would be on the outside, facing away from the leg, so as not to rub against the leg. I guess if the bulkiness bothered the 'look' of the wrap, you could cut it off. That might shorten the lifespan of the wrap, so I would just leave it.

I really like these leg wraps. The are very effective for fly control. I give them a shot of fly spray once they are on, for added protection. My horse lives in then unless he is being ridden. I wash mine in the washer, on gentle cycle. I attach the velcro straps to help with the tangle.
what is the height of these boots?

Can these be worn 24/7 out in pasture? In mud and water?

BEST ANSWER: I am in Florida as well and my QH gelding wears them 24/7 to protect a wrap for summer sore. He is turned out and it stays in place and does a great job. They get covered in mud sometimes but get easily washed off with a hose. But like with everything that involves a horse, I would check daily on it just to make sure everything sits in place.
