You guys had the best price around!! Thanks for the super value. My horse is built uphill and I need more under my cantle.
I bought a 5k saddle only to find out it wasn't made with enough cantle height from the fitter. Now they want another 2k to make me a custom saddle. I just don't have the money right now. So, I'm using this to design my own adjustable cantle riser, since this is he only one on the market that comes close to what I need.

Replacing one I've used for years. Good quality, well-fitting.

Helped my saddle fit my horse better to give me a better seat. I do not need it on my new saddle but will keep it for my dressage saddle.

I compared prices and Stateline had the best price!

How thick is the riser at the back of the pad?
Kaelyn T on Jul 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's about 1 and a half inches at the thickest part, but it compresses a little after you ride in it.
does this relief pad have flexibility and conform to the horse, does it have give? Are the edges sharp?
Terri R on Mar 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Terri,
I purchased one in September and I have used them for years. The edges are smooth and they are very flexible and light weight. As far as conforming to your horse and saddle they definately do. I would suggest using the same one on your horse if you have more than one horse buy one for each horse. After time and the more you ride with it the more it conforms and keeps the mold. Hope this helps in your decision!

arabian horse has low withers and flat back, should this help?
tom b on Mar 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, I use mine on my TB/WB cross with high withers. It boosts the cantle up even with his high withers. You would get a downward effect.
My horse is slightly dips just behind withers would this help bridge that?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This pad is intended to lift the cantle (back) of the saddle so that the pommel and cantle are about level. (The thick part of the pad goes under the cantle.) If your horse has hollows on either side of the withers, you may want to look at a pad with pockets for shims at the wither area. This way, you can add extra padding where you need it without tipping the saddle out of balance. There are many saddle fitting videos on YouTube that will help to illustrate how the saddle should rest on the horse's back. I recommend you take a look at these and then work with a certified saddle fitter who can help you choose the most appropriate solution.
Would it help protect my horses spine? My saddle seems to be rubbing somehow and it just started recently.
A shopper on May 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would investigate why there is rubbing occurring more. Could be loss or change of muscle mass...that change could be a sign something is happening. Not trying to alarm you, but always best to be on the safe side of things. Also, you may need a different saddle. Horses change shape like we do, lol.
My experience with this riser is that it just lifts the back of my saddle off the blanket to make it level with the pummel and provide a bit of shock absorption from my shifting weight, etc...
Has the riser pad helped with saddle rocking?
Ashley on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Im guessing it will depend on your horse and it’s current saddle and fit. We have 2 of these riser pads and they are wonderful for our horses to balance a low sitting saddle . For those two, it has made a world or difference. Highly recommend!
what is the length?

Emily A on Aug 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The pad length is 21". The riser area length is 11".
