Cute and Affordable. However, very cheap and poorly made. Be good if in a pinch and one needed something to show in as long as no one looks to close. Pretty cheesy though for regular riding...... <br />I replaced the Chicago screws with leather for safety. Easy fix.... Once broke in the leather is more pliable also.

Are the reins split or buckle end?
Aolanis F on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They buckle to the bit, and no where else they are split reins.
For those with 'normal QH' sized heads. How do the ear pieces fit? Snugly at all?
TIA!!
Lisa F on Aug 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a normal QH head but the ear pieces have plenty of room for my horses: I bought 2 and use one for my AQHA GELDING who has a classic small but broad head and the other one my TB Gelding wears and he has a long Romanesque face. It should fit your horse fine.
how long are the reins?
K B on Feb 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: 80 inches exactly the same length of my very expensive pair. This headstall is great value, for 30 dollars you should buy a few different ones, I thinking of buying more. You can't go wrong.
How long is it from screw under silver to the screw under silver on each side?
Jessica B on Dec 27, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Jessica, I'm not sure what your asking, the cheek plate is 5 inches and from the plate to the screw is 1 inch. If your thinking of buying this headstall, do. It is very nice, the quality is way better than the price, leather is nicely stitched, both reins and headstall. Buy it you won't be sorry, great price today. Silver is not too bad either, I have seen worst.
