I would like my fence to be 6ft, how can I accomplish that with these sleeves? Is there a way add to them for a taller fence?
A shopper on Feb 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These sleeve only come in the 5ft length.
Can you use these sleeves with woven wire stretch fence or hog panel sections? I don't use tape fence. I just want the fence to look better around our property.
A shopper on Sep 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you could use the sleeve on the tpost and then attach the wire fence or hog panel by wrapping wire around it. Warning...I have tried screwimg into it and the plastic is so thin that the screws strip out and fall out. Wrapping around the plastic with wire works much better.
how much do i purchase for 1 acre?
A shopper on Aug 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You would need the same number of vinyl sleeves as you have of steel T-posts. Realistically, some spares are a good idea as well. Depending on the type of terrain fenced, the posts will be 8 to 10 feet apart.
What are the demsions of vinyl tee post cover?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The vinyl sleeve is 2” x 2” x 5 ft. It is a quality product. We have about 200 on our farm and they are great. The caps are glued on and don’t come off. They fit perfectly over a t-post.
will this fit over round chain link fence posts?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If the tops are not wider than 2 inches then yes it would fit.
Can you use wire fencing?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Good question. I have been using 2" ribbon tape fencing for 5 years now and am very happy with the way it looks and the ease of maintanance. With that being said, I do think you would be able to use the vinyl sleeve with light single strand wire using the proper insulators
Will this fit Everbilt 1-3/4 in. x 3-1/2 in. x 6 ft. Green Steel Fence T-Post? If so, will they fit tightly over the T-Post?
Dianna H on May 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Ours are over tposts. They are not tight and can spin over tpost. Once you put tensioned electric line, holds in place.
In one of the reviews it was said that the sleeve sat a little "loosely" over the t-post, is there a way to secure it from moving so the tension on the tape fence will not turn the cover? and so the cover can not slip up an off the tpost?
Jenny E on Feb 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Its not that lose. I used electric rope. They are great sleeves. We love them.

do they come in any other color? i need flourescent orange?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure. I have only seen white. I recommend calling customer service.
Where can I get extra cap for the top? Shipment came in damaged and missing a couple of caps. Also would like to keep a few extra on hand......
C on May 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you received damaged product, please call our Customer Care team for assistance. We are available 8AM-6PM weekdays, Eastern time at 888-809-0751.
Are the external dimensions 2"x2" or is that the internal void? If the exterior is 2x2, what is the post thickness (or what are the interior dimensions)?
Cody K on May 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Measures 2” x 2” x 5’ long and will fit over any steel t-post.
Is there any way to use these with no climb fencing?
Ellen F on Apr 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Looking at the climbing fence, if you are speaking of the wire fencing, then yes, it can be used. One thing that I have noticed with this product is it's versatility. You can use any screws to hold you wire/electric fence product/etc, and it stands up well. What I have seen though, is that at your "end" points, (where you are using tension) you need to brace the sleeve. For instance, I am using a long screw to go on the opposite side of my tpost to brace the sleeve from spinning toward the tension and this keeps them straight. If you end at a four by four or other brace, you will be fine. :)
How do you attach the polly tape to the TPosts with the sleeves on? Thanks
A shopper on Apr 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Use Item # SLT700571. Just make sure you order the correct size insulators for which ever width Polytape you are using. You will also need screws to attach the insulators to the fence post sleeves. We used either #6 or #8, 3/4" stainless steel pan head screws.
Do the 2x2 fencepost come with a cap?
A shopper on Mar 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but if bored they can nibble them off. I've super glued them on and attached the tape higher to keep them
How tall? How wide? Do they come in 6x6 (5.5x5.5)? what colors? How thick is the vinyl. In short, how about some descriptive info on the product. Sheesh!
A shopper on Jun 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: So the sleeves are about 5' tall. They come in black and white I believe. The vinyl is decently thick, as you do have to use a drill to make holes for the tape connectors. I found them to be an easy to use product that fit nicely over a standard t-post. I think we spaced the tape strands 16"-18" apart with four strands of tape. Keeps my 17 hand warmblood in! Hope that helps?
Can I install these sleeves over my 4 foot (portion above ground) t-posts?
Sara B on May 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Will this fit Everbilt 1-3/4 in. x 3-1/2 in. x 6 ft. Green Steel Fence T-Post?
When do you expect to restock the white sleeves? I have been waiting a while now on them/
S s on May 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Estimated in stock date is currently 5/25/2015
The question was "HOW TALL ARE THESE SLEEVES?" Someone said 5' tall, someone else said they fit over 6' tall T posts and someone else says about 6'. Could someone please take an actual measurement and give the actual length of the post.
Thanks
A shopper on Mar 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We used them with 6' T posts, so they are FIVE feet, not 6. They are nice, but keep in mind that they do not have any form fitting sleeve on the inside, so they are a loose fit over the posts. That being said, they look a lot nicer than straight T posts.
How tall are these sleves?
sheri f on Mar 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Sheri,
The sleeves are 5' tall. They look great and are withstanding the bitter cold very well.

As an FYI, if you are in a cold region, go with the Safe Fence corners & end tensioners. I initially bought the Fi-shock, but they broke the first winter, just from the fence tension. I replaced with the Safe Fence and they have held up great this winter, which was much colder than the past 2 years.
