Previous reviews were good for these insulators. Our current insulators break easily, do not hold firm and allow for wind damage. Our fence posts are 8 feet apart.

I have never liked the other types of electrical fencing holders. I think this will give the fields a nicer appearance.

these appear to hold tape more snugly than what i can buy from tractor supply

I have about ten acres divided into various sizes for horse paddocks, and have been using Safe-Fence for over 15 years. It's the best looking, most visible and easiest to install. I use t-posts with the plastic sleeves, and these insulators. For the occasional broken insulator, repairs are fast and simple as can be.

Does this fit 2" electric fencing?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If same insulator I have, gap is 1.5". I have 1.5" tape. Maybe you could squeeze or fold up 2" tape into the insulator but I don't know. Depends on your tape I guess
Can anyone confirm if these insulator can fit 2" tape? Though SLT ad says 1 1/2, I *think* I found the manufacturer website and they say will fit 2". Hoping someone can either measure the slot where the tape goes or is using these with 2" tape and can confirm 2" fits fine. Thanks!
Kim K on May 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, these only fit the 1 1/2 inch tape. I just ran 800 feet of this fence and can assure you that 2 inch will not fit.
Will theses connectors fit on round post?
Danielle O on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My posts are landscape posts so they are semi round and these fit fine. I love these insulators.
I'm looking at using vinyl sleeves and these guides but I need to use tape and wire. Can I string wire through on the bottom using these guides and it still be hot or is there another suggestion for using with wire on vinyl sleeves?
Amanda B on Jun 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes.there is a small round both at the bottom of each insulator for the wire.
Do you have insulators for 4” vinyl tape?
A shopper on Jul 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No we do not have the insulators in that big of a measurement.
