This is the best product I have used to treat thrush and White Line Disease (WLD). I've used No Thrush and Tomorrow, which do work, but Sav-A-Hoof works faster and using it I've not had to worry about a relapse. I recommend it to all my horse riding friends all the time.

Company website has clear, detailed information and lab results. WLD is endemic to my barn, I am hoping this product will live up to the claims.

This product was recommended by my farrier to help in the treatment of my horse's weakened hoof wall caused by an old abscess. He said he has had very good results with it for hoof infections and other issues.

Great for seedy toe and white line. The save-a-hoof Gel is awesome under a shoe or pas as well. They both work well!!

Something different to try, especially since my horse spent a week in his stall due to a hot nail.

Is this the same kind of treatment as thrush buster? We use thrust buster with great results. Could this spray be used as a preventive measure each month?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've never used Thrush buster but the spray on Sav a hoof worked great on thrush and not so good on white line disease. I bought it to rid my donkey of WLD and have been using it for about a year. His thrush is gone but it is sprayed on everyday to a cleaned out hoof, the bottom and sides of the hoof and cornet band of the hoof trying to get rid of the WLD but it only has cleared up his thrush used everyday.
How often does this need to be applied?
Laura W on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Because of the wet summers in Upstate New York lately, my one horse has had nasty thrush in all four feet the last three years. He has become resistant to Thrush Buster, Absorbine's product, that new powdered formulation (I can't remember the name, sorry) and every other thrush product out there. He's outside so much his feet were practically rotting out and causing him to be lame no matter what I or my farrier tried.

Desperate, I bought this spray and the gel. I started with the gel. I made sure the hoof was completely clean and clear from debris and applied the gel. This I only did once a week. It worked great and cleared up most of the thrush. To maintain, I used the spray. The spray I used once a day. I also made sure the hooves were completely clean and clear of debris, then sprayed.

Then I had surgery and couldn't get out to the barn for a month. When I returned, my gelding's feet were exhibiting nasty thrush once again. This time I only used the spray—once a day—and it cleared it right up. I hope this helps!
