Shires® Sweet Iron Flat Ring Eggbutt Bit With Lozenge
A stainless steel bit with sweet iron mouthpiece. Sweet iron bits are designed to oxidize to produce a sweet taste which helps with mouthing. The copper ribs ensure the horse will not take up too much of a contact, ideal for horses that can take a hold.
The fixed rings prevent pinching, while the sweet iron mouthpiece encourages salivation. The lozenge avoids a nutcracker action.
