Does it fit a Thoroughbred horse?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This was a little big for my warm blood but if it's not there I'll bread just fine. The warm blood was a 15.3 hand and the thorough bred is a 16.3 hand.
Do you think this will fit a 14.1 welsh? (He’s too big for pony size)
Deanna M on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This Standing Martingale runs small. I ordered it for my 17.1 horse and it was way too small. I would say it fits 14-16 hh horse
does this loop around the girth or attach to the d ring?
emily mallon on Jan 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Standing martingales always loop around the girth then to the noseband of the bridle.
Hello - I'm not very experienced horseperson so I need to ask how the noseband is applied to the horse. Does the loop slip over the nose like a halter, or does it unbuckle or somehow open up before putting on horse? Thank you
A shopper on Nov 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It goes through the bottom of the noseband , the loop/opening basically allows the noseband to go through and be buckled.

You say you are inexperienced, may I ask why you feel you need a standing martingale? When used correctly they work as a great training aid, but they do not replace/fix a training issue
