I wore out the thumbs shoveling all winter, so I had to buy another pair. These are the best winter gloves for outdoor barn chores that I have ever had. Hands kept warm even in subzero weather (hands are still staying warm even with the small holes in the thumbs). Hands never got wet . . . gloves stayed soft and pliable even after they were exposed to rain, sleet and slush. The length of cuff is perfect and keeps hay from getting into the gloves.

Waterproof and warmth. Hoping they are flexible enough to use at work when working in freezers.

Hoping they will be similar to the SSG All Weather Gloves and will keep me warm feeding and doing buckets in Ohio's frigid temperatures.

Have purchased these in the past. Warmest waterproof gloves I can find.
Jorg M on Jan 20, 2019
They are the best winter gloves I have ridden in. They are super warm and grip the reins without the struggle of losing them when my horse decides to pull like a freight train!
Kathy D on Jan 18, 2019
best gloves, that I purchase EVERY year

Amber F on Jan 3, 2019
These are the best winter gloves I have found for barn chores and even riding, particularly because they have a nice snug cuff that keeps hay out! I have had several pairs and my current pair is wearing out after a few years' use.

GREAT GLOVES FOR BARN WORK. HANDS STAY WARM AND DRY
Tina H on Dec 20, 2018
These are waterproof and warm. For me they are too thick to ride in but I won't go up to the barn to feed and muck at 5:30 am without them.
Holly O on Dec 17, 2018
I have a pair of these and they are the best, warmest gloves ever! So I bought a pair as a Christmas gift for a dear friend.
Lori A on Dec 15, 2018
Because I work outside in the cold a lot at my small horse farm-- and keeping my hands warm AND dry is important to me!

My wife's hands are always cold in the winter and these are almost as good as mittens but allow use of her fingers. She won't use anything else.

I loved my last pair of SSG 10 Below Waterproof Gloves. They are the best gloves I've been able to find that keep my hands warm on those very cold days. They finally started wearing out after a lot of barn chores so I am getting a new pair. :)

Are they really good for below zero temps and would they be good for shoveling snow?
Laurie H on Mar 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These gloves are amazing! Temps this winter went to 20 below F and my hands stayed warm and dry. I shoveled a lot of snow (some days up to 4 hours-no kidding!). The only wear on these are the thumbs. Unfortunately, the thumbs wore out exposing the underlayers. All other fingers are fine. I'm still wearing them, but will get a new pair. Totally worth it! They run small, though, so I got a size bigger than normal. Fingers are long, but flexible, so I had no problems with them at all.
How do you know what size to buy? Thanks
Joyce G on Feb 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have pretty small hands so I ordered size small. The gloves fit snugly. They couldn't be any smaller. I'm inclined to order a size medium next time.
is size medium actually size 8 ladies?
Ruth P on Jan 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would go with size 7 for ladies medium. I got a 6 and they were too small. Got a 7 and they were perfect.
