Is there an open space or channel along the spine on the fleece side? My current half pad has an open channel and this irritates the sore spots on my horse.
Debra D on Apr 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there is an open channel about an 1” to 1 1/2” with fleece at the front and back across the channel. I have three of these pads and love them for my high Withered 23 year old Dutch Wamblood. Hope this helps!
Is this considered a therapeutic dressage pad?
Nancy H on Oct 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't believe this is considered a therapeutic pad. I initially bought it to use as a show pad and for the convenience of having a pad that is really 2 pads in one. I recently got a 5-yr old, OTTB gelding who had sore back issues. (He has been adjusted by a chiropractor) and of the several pads I have tried with him, he seems to like this one best.
