how do you measure them?
Carol K on Jan 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: From inside the branch on one side straight across to inside the branch on the other side. This is where you see the little half-circle cutaways on either side of the pad where they meet the branches.
For safety, a stirrup tread should be at least one inch wider than the ball of your riding boot.
Are these long lasting, GOOD irons?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't have a ton of experience with various types of irons, but I've used these almost every day for the past year without any issues. They don't have seem to look worn or show any signs of damage. I was looking for something basic and affordable and don't regret the purchase. I'm hoping they last me a while. Happy shopping!
do these stirrups come with the pad?
A shopper on Mar 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes they do come with the pad. These are pretty decent stirrups for the price - I really like them.
does it come with two?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they come as a pair.
will the slot for belt fit a 2" belt?
tom m on Aug 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Don't think so, more like 1 or 1.5".
Do leathers come with these???
A shopper on Oct 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, these do not come with leathers. However, they are very lightweight, durable and still look nice after frequent use.
is this for a pair of stirrup irons or only one?
Sarah C on Oct 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A pair. They are nice for the price.
What size would fit an 8.5 boot?
A shopper on Jul 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It more depends on the width of the foot. My daughter has a wide size 10 foot and that is why we purchased these. Measure the width of the foot in riding boots at the toe box. That will better determine the width you need.
Do they only ship to Canada?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: State Line Tack ships anywhere in the U.S. and ALSO to Canada.
You may have seen written somewhere that they ship to Canada and you may have thought it meant only
Canada. State Line does ship to the U.S. and Canada.
I wear a 9 to a 9.5 boot what size would I need?
A shopper on Oct 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how wide you shoe is. I have ridden in insulated muck boot with the 5 inch and it was perfect. I wear a size 7 riding boot. Both still work great with the 5 inch.
how do you determine size of stirrups?
MIchele F on Oct 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Foot ( boot ) should fit on stirrup pad with approx. 1/4 to 1/2 inch space between boot and stirrup loop,
( on each side of boot )
How wide is the footbed?
Tiffany H on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The actual foot bed is a little shy of 5" but good for most larger boot sizes.
We find safety for riders is most important in all tack, so always want to be sure stirrup size is appropriate for a foot to slip easily out of stirrup if needed.
Beginner riders especially since most don't have a lot of depth in their heel find a 5 "stirrup safer if having a larger foot.
Do they ship to Hawaii?
A shopper on Feb 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. A $29.95 fee will apply in addition to the shipping charges. Shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii are a result of increased cost from the shipping service provider.
