Worked until it didnt
This worked great for awhile and then the rubber on the plunger became so tight is was unusable even after spraying it with Pam to lube it. To be honest we used it A LOT so maybe it just wore out.

Very easy to use.
Much better than trying to use an old deworming syringe. Even tho my hands are very small, I had no trouble using it.

This is a great oral dosing syringe! I bought it on a whim when I wanted to try Finish Line U-7 Gastric Aid, and it's absolutely perfect. It comes with ounces and cc's clearly labeled (it holds 2oz or 60cc) and it fits in the hand and doses very nicely. Wish I had bought a few of them! Much easier than cleaning out an old dewormer syringe to reuse and holds twice as much; this is great for any liquid you need to dose your horse with.

Way easier to use than a normal dose syringe
These are good quality and are way better ergonomically than a normal dose syringe. It's worth the very small extra price.

very large syringe
This is a good heavy quality, easy to handle syringe. Only one drawback, no markings on syringe for measuring correct cc's.

LOVE these syringes, my first aid is filled with them. The grip handles on the side and thumb hole makes it super easy to administer meds, especially for those that are thicker.

The better question is why I haven't discovered these earlier.

I am using this syringe for giving water and other nutritional liquids to my large elderly dog that can no longer drink water on her own. She has learned to swallow liquids properly using this syringe. I also used these syringes to give drinking water to my 19 year old Texas Longhorn cow, when she went down and could not get back up. Hydration is important even during the dying process.

I chose this to administer the Kaolin Pectin that I purchased.

How many come in the package?
Catherine R on Nov 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 1 came in package.
how wide is the opening?
Jean P on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't have one with me here at work but if you are trying to put a needle on it, it wouldn't work. If you are trying to give your animal something by mouth, it can take a pretty thick substance. If I were to guess, I would say 1/8" opening. Sorry I can't be more exact.
Do these come any larger?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Good question, unfortunately I do not know, but would recommend checking with the manufacturer. Note: It is a fairly large Syringe and holds decent volume. The handles are great for easy grip and accurate placement in the mouth.
How many times can you use this syringe until it the rubber trip on the "pusher" portion gives out? I've tried human syringes and I end up having to oil it up or it won't slide any more after a few doses. Thanks
LINDA D on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'd say I can use it about a half dozen times before I have to start oiling them. I've tried many different brands and they are all the same. I just buy a bunch at a time. Good thing they are cheap!
