This is a one of a kind product that works fairly well. It has little or no competition. I can remember when it was about $5 a jar, now prices range up to $11. Looks like an area where some competition would reduce the price.

Absolute best for keeping away small, biting knats and flies. They don't care for the smell. It has to be reapplied daily but saves my horses sheath and muzzle.

Does the pink do anything different then the clear?
A shopper on Apr 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I find it lasts longer, attracts less dirt and is more water repellent. It is pink, but turns white after a time. If you rub it, it turns pink again. I find it better than diaper cream for my geldings legs, he is incontenant.
Can you put this directly on a cut? my horse has a summer sore the size of a quarter on her fetlock and flies go crazy for it, so it hasnt been healing.
Paulina on Dec 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can, but you need to heal the fetlock. Can really turn into a big problem. My stallion has one on his sheath and it is an ongoing battle. You have to doctor it twice a day, with triple antibiotic and hydrocortisone. Then ivermectrin, and then the SWAT. Also during these times of flies, I treat my horses with ivermectrin in mouth every few weeks. Good Luck.
Will this burn horse eyes of it get around them?
A shopper on Jul 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is for wounds and should be kept away from their eyes.
I have 4 dogs and would like a large container of SWAT?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I only use swat on my horse's muzzle and eyes.
It works very well and for at least 24 hrs. I live in Ca. I've never used it on my dogs. I don't know how well it would work on anything but very short hair.
what is its performance for preventing fleas?
A shopper on Dec 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I only use swat for my horse and horses don’t generally get fleas.
