Can you use this plug outdoors? Does it have to be used in a covered area?
Sherry on Apr 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: that is exactly where you use it..I did not cover it at all but just remember when it gets above temperature it will not work It's used in cold weather so if you have other other things plugged into it they will not work such as an electric netting for example it wasn't working It was because it was plugged in that and it was hot out So I had to take it away and just use a different kind of an extension cord but it works great outside I use it for my heated buckets
Can this be used indoors as a regular multi plug?
Sue V on Aug 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't think so. It is triggered by freezing temperatures so unless your house temp is freezing or below, electricity won't flow.
