Gift for my niece and she likes pink. I hope it's a good pad
Karen F on Dec 4, 2018
Purchased five of these over the past few years. Held up well to normal wear and tear and washings. Lost one in a move down south and another to mice who only loved one particular color for some reason. Buying another. Love them so much under our regular pads for help in slipping and shock absorption for our older horses. Use them on their own for light riding in hot southern summers under saddle.

Reviews predominantly positive. I want a lightweight, thin, but strong pad. The price was right.

LINDA K on Apr 22, 2018
Have always used a felt pad but experiencing slippage with a new horse and this was recommended.
Amy K on Apr 1, 2018
Price was right & reviews said it was easy to clean.
Teresa H on Mar 27, 2018
I liked the material it is made out of. I am not a big fan of wool or fleece pads because they are so hard to keep clean.
Sable C on Feb 21, 2018
Absolutely my favorite western pad by far! My QH is young and I want to protect his back from any possible saddle marks, this pad is super sool for him, and I can visually see the how much better the saddle weight is displaced after a ride. Using it with an older Abetta synthetic saddle which is light weight to begin with. Will buy a spare, very happy with this pad!

How thick is this pad?
Maddie K on Apr 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It’s thinner than a saddle blanket but has good shock absorption. It gives me better contact with my horse and keeps the saddle from slipping.
Could you show in this pad?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm sure you could. There's not a lot of structure to the pad. But the colors are bright. I usually put a pretty show pad over the saddle pad for shows. Really a matter of preference.
Since the pad is thin do you have to use another pad over or under it?
Debra B on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No this pad can be used by itself. You can throw a blanket over the top for use in the show ring too.
Is it enough padding for a swayback horse?
Megan D on Jul 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 1/2 thick pad with 1" thick built-up front.
Is the mid section along the spine padded?
Jan Lou E on Aug 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is lightly padded...not a very think padding though...I didn't need a pad with alot of padding so it's working well for me
Can this be used on a Thoroughbred with shark fin/ high withers?
A shopper on Oct 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have this pad and love it. I have an OTTQH gelding with a shark fin (LOL) and works great. I prefer the cut back which allows more movement, and his mane grows very far back over his withers which can get in the way of the saddle pad so this pad relieves that. It has lasted well in the 1+ and several rides a week wear.
Would this fit on a 14hh quarter horse?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use mine on a very small Tennessee Walker and it fits fine. My saddle isn’t much bigger than a kids saddle and the pad fits nicely under it.
Can this pad be used for barrels?
bella b on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This saddle pad really keeps the saddle from slipping when leaning into a turn however, it tends to cut wherever the saddle applies the most pressure. If I see a little tear starting I put duct tape over it because I still like this saddle pad better then any other I've tried. It's light weight, provides cushion where needed, keeps saddle from slipping. Because it's thin, my legs have a tighter contact with the horse allowing me to use less pressure, therefore less fatigue, when signaling horses to change gait.
Is the purple really purple? In the picture it looks pink
Natasha S on Sep 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The one I have is pink- not purple at all. I have had it 3 years and I will tell you it was okay for awhile, but I bought a Toklat T3 Matrix Performance Saddle pad with felt ortho impact protection, and it is much better for my 29 year old Arabian mare, and my younger TB gelding..
Will this help keep the saddle from slipping when getting on?
Debra B on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, absolutely. I have found this pad is very helpful to keep the saddle in place.
Would this work for a treeless saddle pad?
welshcob3904 on Dec 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It would depend on how the treeless saddle fit your horse, but yes, this would be a good pad to try.
When will you get the green and pink in?
Sandi G on Nov 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Item is showing an estimated date for 11/28/18.
Is the purple the one shown in the picture?
