Why did you choose this?

I am putting together an equine first aid kit. I added this because the sale price made them irresistible. I got several sizes.

Good coverage and inexpensive. Leg being wrapped is on a horse in pasture....quite often it is stepped on or lost. These provide the coverage and are inexpensive if 'torn to shreds'.

Just the right size for my QH's short legs. Look like brand new after laundering with warm water, regular detergent, bleach and OxiClean stain remover sprayed on really dirty areas.

We were in need of these items for my horse, Tractor supply, Atwood, feed stores, and other facilities have stopped carrying these items. The clinic where I have another horse at told me to get on line to locate these items sense all other well know facilities no longer carry a much needed product for horses. Thank you

I just found out that you can use these washable wraps in place of vet wrap-- so I'm hoping they work because I'm tired of spending money on vet wrap -- just wish my Vet would have told me about these sooner.

First time purchase of quilted wraps. Prefer pillow wrap but decided to try something new!

My horse has an injury to his fetlock and I have to wrap his leg daily. I have a set of 4 of these already and need more. They are machine washable and last a long time.

We have a wonderful mare who needs to have her right hind lubricated with emollient cream daily (poorly functioning valves in the veins from a trailer kicking incident before we bought her - but she's an incredible athlete so we deal!). She has had cellulitis before, so we keep the skin lubricated and wrap with these, with a cold water standing bandage on top. Works great.

I chose this wrap because all of the sets of 2 were quite expensive and I needed a 4 pack but have an EXTREMELY tight budget. So I ended up finding these ones for a decent price so now I don't have to worry about my thoroughbred hurting himself on our way to shows!

Because they are more thin than regular standing wraps. Good for arizona because it's so hot!

My dad has a race horse who keeps cutting his hind legs when racing. We have been wrapping them, but cuts through wraps as well. Would anyone have a solution to this ? Could my race horse race with these quilted wraps? Or wear a protection around hooves ? I need help !
Steph on Nov 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It sounds like boots may be good to try? Perhaps both bell boots and splint boots? They would take "cutting" motions better than quilted wraps. Also check with your farrier to see if a change in shoeing could help.
