Is the rope soft or is it that coated hard nylon kind?
Roberta B on Apr 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is stiff like most of these type are that I have seen. I would not call it soft, yet it is not a hard nylon that is abrasive.
Where exactly are the bridle and reins supposed to be attached at on this bit? Is it a small bit to work with, regarding space for the bridle, reins and mouth room for horse?
T S on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is combination bit that uses rope nose and thin mouth with gag action to give you more leverage and break at the pole.

With a 5” mouth and 3" rings you should have plenty of space to work with.

The headstall will attach to the small rings located at the back of the large rings you see on the sides. The reins will attach at the small semi-circle section located inside the large rings.
What is the diameter of the mouth piece?
A shopper on Jul 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Approx 5 1/2" -6 ". It fits all of my average size horses 800-1100 lb.
