Fits is ok. Belly band is the best feature. Drys quickly when it rains.

This fly sheet was probably not designed for horses
The leg straps have no adjustability and they are short. The belly band attaches with velcro strips. It didn't come close to fitting my mare who has worn a size 78 for years. Had the velcro straps actually connected it is doubtful if they would have stayed attached for more than five minutes. The front has no room for overlap, so would likely rub. Returned.

Overall I like this product
I found this product to be slightly large in size. Measured my guy at 80 in so got 81 in sheet. Could have used 78 in. Sheet wanted to rub on neck at the chest. I suspect because slightly too large. Stays on nicely and seems cool. I used it in Az heat 100 degrees plus. Very sturdy sheet

Better than expected
South Texas has biting bug issues most months of the year. But, we also have lots of humid hot days that are not conducive to clingy fabric. I was very skeptical that a fly sheet would last a week on any of my horses turned out on pasture on a warm day, and yet they did! I bought 2 of this brand and 2 in another brand so I could compare them in real time. I'm pretty sure I like this brand best.

STIFF material
the material this is made of is so stiff there is NO WAY I'm putting it on my mare. I gave it one star but if I could have minus starred it I would have. HORRIBLE material. Buy something else. Also the belly cover is the only option. No option to remove it . Very disappointing.

Comfort: 1

do the sizes run small, large or spot on?
Pat G on Jun 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I only need light/med weight winter blankets, but based on standard winter blanket sizes, I found that all the fly sheets (i bought 4 different brands this year) all seemed to run a bit big. I love this sheet best, of all four brands, also. FYI.
How do I measure for fit?
A shopper on May 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Stand your horse as square as possible. Measure from the center of the chest along the side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If your horse ends up measuring between sizes, choose the one closest to your measurement unless your horse is particularly big-bodied.
Measuring is usually best done with a helper and a soft or cloth measuring tape. Take the measurement twice to be sure.
