Tying your horses to the high line/picket line can be challenging. We switched to this swivel because of issues with others. Our horses were more calm and moved around much easier with the swivel. There was no pacing, no lead line knotting and no getting off the line. We would recommend this product to all horse owners.
great product reasonable price exc service
This device is great for a picket line, and you can move it fairly easily to move your horse to new grass down the line. Used it with a collar around neck, which aids in keeping the rope away from the horse's feet.
If you camp, and picket your horses, I highly recomend this product.
Really like the swivel, much nicer, than no swivel.On the picket line I use one for the horse, and about 2' away, I use another for a small holed hay bag, and wha la! piece and quite at night, with no tangled up horses in the morning.
Perfect for horse camping
We used these on our high line tie-out on our first horse camping trip. The swivel allowed the horses move around, reach their food and my mare even rolled while tied. I would recommend these for anyone looking to use a high line or picket line.
Good product. Like the Swivel
I have been using these for a number of years now. Easy to attach to highline. I like the swivel. Horses that tend to go around in circles do not get the lead rope all messed up.
Swivels are Great
Its so much faster and easier to set up the picket line for our weekend camping trips. I never leave home without them. As a general rule I always pack an extra one to tie hay bags or a lantern for late night feeding. They are essential tool in my horse trailer.

BEST ANSWER: Internal diameter is 1 1/2 ", external diameter is 2". Great product! I wish I had purchased one before my horse ruined two lead lines by circling constantly. She even broke a mountain climbing carbineer but this Swivel No Knot Picket Line Tie works great.

the ring is big enough for a regular sized lead rope to go through. if you have one of the big lead ropes it can go through the top part of the tie. we have used these ties for a long time and really like them. the animal does not tangle the rope and can move round easily. they are easy to move on the picket line to adjust to where you want them. hay bags snap on easily. have fun trail riding and using these on your picket line.
I do not have it handy to measure but we use large thick lead lines and never have problems with it being too small. They really work great, gives your horses more freedom with movement. They can turn circles and lead line does not shorten or tangle secondary to being twisted.
