Best priced sport boots I've ever bought! They fit like a dream and really seem to help with my guys legs! The velcro is TOUGH and the seams are rugged! You wont see me ever spending EXTRA money on another brand again! LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!

Monica B on Apr 14, 2014
I have done lots of research about different types and brands of sport boots. These seem to be a very protective boots that's cheaper than other big name brands. I have read that this boots is very pliable and I was excited to hear that as I want a boot that will form to my horses leg without a lot of un needed bulk.

my horse is a little over 14.3 but not quite 15hh so small or meduim? i love these boots! ive heard so many good things about them! :)
Bella on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Fine boned go with small medium to large boned go with mediums
I do a lot of intense "trail riding", in fumes beside there are no trails, but my horses legs always get cut up, but do you think that these would get caught on bushes/ cause her to trip? If so, any recommendations ?
Aolanis F on Apr 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have never had these boots get caught on bushes or anything, and I do a lot of trail riding. However, if you are riding in areas with weeds, or anything that would stick to the material, I woldn't get these. I'm always pulling out stickers, etc.....I would either buy the covers to go over these boots, or buy leather boots. Love the boots other then that!
my horse is 15.00 hands what size should I get?
A shopper on Oct 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would try a medium. My Horse is also 15 hands but is a thicker horse (not like a thin Thoroughbred or like my tiny-boned Mare). The medium fit him well, but his Dad is also 15 hands and is even more thick than mine and would suggest that he need a large. If your horse is average bone density, I suggest a medium, small if he is thinner boned than average, large if he is thicker than average. I hope this helps!! The good thing is that you can try them and exchange them for a different size of the size you order is not adequate. With some of these things, I am always giving it my best estimate when placing orders online and trying it out once all arrives.
My horse is a 13.3 arab/ pinto should I get the small or medium?
Rainy x on Jan 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We put the medium on a 14.5 hands quarter horse. Fit great. The velcro allows for adjacent so unless your horse has thick legs I think small will be enough.
My horse is a 16.1 hh Thoroughbred, what size would she wear?
A shopper on May 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: All depends on their bone structure my guy wore medium in fronts and large on rears due to his legs ... best way is to measure their legs
Will these work for a larger draft mix horse? I usually use large and extra large.
Jacqui C on Nov 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Here is a link to the sizing chart to help you decide:
what size would fit a 7 year old paint?
A shopper on Jan 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It really depends on the size of your horse's legs. The average 15hh horse would take mediums. A fine boned horse would take small. My 15.2hh QH stallion takes mediums while my 14.3hh QH gelding takes smalls.
would these be suitable for jumping?
Kelly P on Jul 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Velcro on these fit very securely. They will stay in place fine during jumping. However if your horse tends to rub the poles, open front boots would allow him more feel.
Is buying the four pack better than just the front? Will these last long? Are they good qaulity? Any sizing tips?
Sarah g. f on Oct 19, 2013
I bought these wraps for my polo pony and I love them! I purchased four because I wanted to protect her back feet. She is a petite, dainty legged thoroughbred about 15 hands but I also use them on my other polo pony and he's a big, sturdy boy. I purchased the pink and black zebra style and the pink park faded a little from exposure to the sun over the past year or so but, overall, I would highly recommend them. They are well constructed, the velco still works like it's new, and they are easy to clean... all in all I am very, very happy with them and they protect my horses' legs from being hit with the mallets....a win win situation. With regard to buying 2 or 4...I think that depends on what you are using them for really.
Hope I answered your questions.
Would these boots work for barrel racing ? Also what size would fit a 15.0-15.2 hh Quarter Horse mare ?
A shopper on Jun 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi, there!! I don't barrel race but would think that they do as they flex nicely, provide support, and are easy to fit with 3 Velcro straps. My Gelding is just over 15 hands now, and he is very full as his is a Spanish-Norman and Quarter Horse cross, built like a bulldog Quarter Horse. He fits the size Medium nicely. I'm sorry that I couldn't answer your question, but I've seen barrel racing pictures with Horses dressed in similar boots. They are durable, easy to clean, and well-priced. If I were going to play fast with barrels, I would try it out with these boots. I don't use them all of the time because I also want my Horses to build up their soft tissue. So, I do sessions with and without boots. Best of luck!! God Bless!!
I have a 15.8 hand throughbred, what size would be best? And could I also use bell boots while I use these?
Brenna D on Jun 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: First of all horses are measured in "hands" which are measured in 4 inches. You can either have a 15.3 hand horse or a 16 hand horse. I purchased my boots for a thoroughbred that was going to mature at 16.3. if you are looking at something close to a 16 hand horse I would order the large boots. I have never tried bell boots, but it seems to me that they would get bound up with these boots because they have the tendency to slip down with use. hope I helped with your question
Can I use these and still put bell boots on the front?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. They are just like any other sports medicine boots they are designed to go with bell boots.
I have a 14.3/15hh qh mare, what do you think would fit her better, small or medium?
Johanna E on Dec 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the Larges for a 15.3 Tennessee Walker. He is not a large boned horse by any means of the word. (not fat) They provide great support and are eay to work with. Much easier than the more expensive support boots. I prefer these boots over any other brand. In my opinion I feel the Medium sized boots will provide you with good support but will be easier to apply than a small would on your horse. You want them to be snug but not overly constricting.

I hope this has helped you with your decision.
My TB mare is a tad over 16hands. Medium or small? :)
A shopper on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Unless your horse is short in the cannon, you should purchase a large. (Not Draft)

The front large boots are designed for horses approx 16-16.3 hands and they measure 12" in height.

would these be good for a fx splint bone that needs wrapping?
Rita C on Nov 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use these as protection for my horse's legs when we are trail riding through dense brush. They aren't that supportive, I don't think. But they make for a great covering to keep from getting cuts and scrapes. Not sure they would work that well for supporting splint bone.
My horse is about 15.5 between 16.0 I Need to know what size to get?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sorry I don't even remember what size I ordered or which horse I ordered them for. I have 6 horses here. I think if you go to the tough 1 web site they can help 0 or call State line, they have someone to help. It depends on how stock the horse is as well. A fine bonded horse might use a small. And there is no such thing has 15.5 there are 4 inches to a hand, a 15 h horse would be 60 inches at the wither 15.5 = 16.1 because if there are 4inches to a hand , then 4 inches would be a hand . the most a horse could be is 15.3 after that it is 16H
My horse is 14.1-14.2 Morab what size should I get for him?
cocoabug on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My cutting horses are around 14.1- 14.2 also - The tough one size small fits them
what size should I get for 14.1-14.2 Morab?
cocoabug on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My mare is a stocky QH/Reiner but her cannon bones are pretty tiny. I imagine an Arab's legs would be pretty "fine boned." I ordered a small and they fit her perfect. I've been using them 3-4 times a week for over a year and they are still in great shape.
Can these be used for showing and for Jumping? Will the medium fit my TB gelding? He's not quite 17h.
Rachel C on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I show western gaming in them and they do just fine. I'm not 100% sure about the jumping but if you can use Professionals Choice SMB boots these will work. I would buy a large for your TB. I use a medium on my 14.2 QH.
what type of warrany is on these boots?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Check with the manufacturer on actual warrenty, but as far as usage, I have purchased two pairs and found them to be of good quality and they hold up very well to daily use. The Velcro is tough and hold boots secure, but still easy to put on and take off.
Are these boots machine washable?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I soaked these in a bucket of hot soapy water because the Velcro tabs stuck to everything. I rinsed using a garden hose then laid flat to dry.
I have a 15.2 quarter horse mare and was wondering what size I do Fox hunting showing and eventing ?Would this be could for Fox hunting?
Lilly K on Aug 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It doesn't matter the height of your horse it's the size of their legs but medium seems to be the standard size for most horses. We use them for western gaming so I don't see why they would not be good for hunting events.
What size do I buy for my horse?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Please refer to the Dimensions/Manufacturer Information link at the right side of the product description to help determine sizing.
Skid plate on back boots?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No skid plate on back of boots
Would they be good for TBs at track?
Steve R on Sep 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They provide basic, general compression and support, but they are general boots. If you are looking for a specialized boot for race training, I suggest to ask those in the racing sector. These boots look great, are easy to clean, and are good non-specific boots. I do not have TB's. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help! Best of luck and God Bless!!!
would these be suitable for trailer travel?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have seen them used for short rides however polo wraps and shipping boots are made for trailer travel these are sports medicine boots, for serious excersize
Are these boots good for jumping?
A shopper on Jul 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No these are not jumping boots.. You will need something that has more support and allows for movement of jumping. Try a Open Front Tendon boot. Good luck!??
