I already have one just like it and it never slips.

Looking for a neoprene saddle pad as my horse breed notoriously needs one. Reviews made me decide to try this one as many said their horses seemed cooler under it.
Jeff E on Apr 28, 2018
Hoping it will work to keep horse comfortable during long rides.
Kimberli L on Apr 14, 2018
I was injured when I was very young while riding and my hip is crooked. I often slide left in the saddle, and when I try to correct myself I over-correct and slide right. I am hoping this will help keep my saddle from sliding to the sides

good price, great reviews, like that the underside is a easy to clean material with felt inside.
Darla B. on Mar 7, 2018
Typically happy with tough one. Needed a pad that would not slip on a ponies back. If too big looks like would still be nice on the horses. Currently have a pad I use on one of my horses and love it, not a non-slip style.
Cheila M on Feb 23, 2018
I am showing 2 horses this year and needed to duplicate my equipment. This is a quality pad with many of the features I wanted but finding the right size felt nearly impossible.

Color, light, easy to care for.

These are the only saddle pads I'll use on my horses! They last forever, will form to your horses shape, and have nice color options! They also don't slide around and it fits my high withered Thoroughbred with no problems and then fits onto my flat withered Quarter Horse.
Christopher F on Dec 17, 2013
Husband has owned one for 6 years. His horse goes well in it, it stays in place and horse's back stays pretty dry. Buying a second one so we can clean one and use the other while the first one dries.

is it a barrel pad?
A shopper on Feb 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No it's not. It has a squared back. It's a bit too long for my 14.2 paint but very nice. Doesn't slip at all.
Has anyone has issues with this pad hurting the horse with its hard spine? I am at my wits end with it. 3 different body shaped horses and they all buck when I try to tighten the cinch. I don't want to just re-sell it because it seems dangerous and defective to me.
Sarah B on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If your saddle's gullet doesn't have enough clearance for this pad I would certainly think it could be a problem. My saddle has enough clearance and I love this pad, but I was concerned about the hard spine when I first got it. I thought somebody had accidentally put rebar in the pad! I don't know why there is such a hard-ridged spine, but I will be very careful about saddle and pad combination with it. That being said, this pad works so well that I no longer need a breast collar.
Is the interior fleece or the grippy material? (the part that contacts the horse's back)
Jess M on Jun 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The side of the pad that goes on the horse's back is the grippy material. I have found it very effective, and it has greatly reduced saddle slipping (combined with a wider cinch than I was previously using). My trainer thought it seemed too rough to be comfortable for the horse, but the Clydesdale mare I ride hasn't seemed to mind the texture at all. There is a hard ridge running down the middle of the saddle pad, though, so I wouldn't use it on a treeless saddle, since I think the ridge would press on the horse's spine.
how do you wash it?
jules on Mar 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you haven't bought this don't. It was dangerous. Unless you plan to put something between this and your horse's back. It couldn't be cinched down properly and almost cost us an injury.

It didn't clean well either.
Will this pad fit under a 14 inch saddle?
stacy f on Apr 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I use this pad on my 16 inch saddle and it barely sticks out around the edges, so it will fit under a 14 inch. Definitely by far one of my favorite pads!
Can it be retuned?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Returns may be made within 30 days of receipt so long as items are in new, unused condition with the original product tags and packaging. Please call our Customer Care team for assistance. We are available 8AM-8PM weekdays, Eastern time at 888-809-0751. Here is a link to our full Return Policy:
why is the lime green and pink more expensive than the other colors???
taylor w on Dec 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately Tough-1 does charge more for those two colors.
does this pad work well with a horse with kissing spine?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't know what a "kissing spine" is, but I sent this pad back because even though it says it's contoured, it really bunched up when I put the saddle on it. Didn't seem like it was very contoured to me. It was pretty flimsy and not very supportive.
Will this pad fit a dressage saddle?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It should. Make sure you measure your saddle to see if the length is correct
Will this pad work for a high withered horse?? I have trouble finding pads that fit him properly
Morgan L on Mar 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would not recommend this pad for a high withered horse.
does this come in 30 x 32?
A shopper on Dec 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The size on this item is 32” x 32” x 1" Thick.
