Great but..
they lasted about a year. My daughter rides 2 horses 4 days a week and these have holes on the inside and the stitching came out on the outside. I was hoping she would get more time out of them.

Good for the money
Cheap construction with very thin material; stitching in inside calf area started to rub out after only 1 ride. However, I love the elastic panel that goes all the way along the zipper (makes them nice and tight and smooth but not too restrictive) and the zipper + 2 snaps design seems pretty sturdy so far. Not Ariat quality but good enough for me to ride and run in for ~3 hours a day, holding up well for the past month.

Very nice!
They fit great. I got the xlg. but I could have probably got by with the lg. My calf measures 151/2 in. Very nice quality. I highly recommend them.

Not true to size
Ordered this product after riding in the exact same pair a friend bought years ago and the size was too big. I ordered a small like she had and it was huge. The quality is much worse than hers. Hers are three years old and I would take those over the ones I bought any day. Not worth the money.

I've been using these half chaps for a year now and I LOVE them! They've held up well and the zipper and stitching have yet to come undone. The bottom button clasps don't always seem to stay but it's not a huge deal. A friend in group lessons with me actually thought I'd been wearing tall boots for the past year until I told her they were half chaps.

Pretty Good
Got my chaps at the end of last summer, but only rode in them twice, when I went to put them on the third time a few days ago, the elastic that sits over the laces of my boots is ripping away from the leather-like fabric. Not a huge deal, I can sew them, but still disappointed in the durability of the product. Try to get them on sale if at all possible. Other than that, not a bad pair of chaps. they look good and feel like you're wearing field boots.

Our first pair of riding pants!
We haven't purchased any other riding pants so we've nothing to compare them to. BUT they are comfortable, they fit, they seem well made, and compared to other pants, the price was exceptional! We will buy more.

Save your money
The first pair came out of the package with a broken zipper. The second pair appeared ok but after my daughter put them on the bottom snaps unsnapped as soon as she got on the horse and every time she moved. It was not that they were too tight, snaps just seemed to be of wrong size and/or quality for what is required. I would definitely not recommend them, both pairs went back. Decided to buy leather ariat half chaps instead, incidentally be sure you measure and check sizes if you really want to try these. My daughter needed an extra large in these and a medium in ariat. I was very disappointed in these, nearly all of the apparel my daughter and I have are tuffrider and have always been satisfied with their products.

Great Quality, High Price
Awesome chaps for anyone! Buttery soft, even though it's pleather. I can't even begin to count the compliments I receive when wearing these! The quality is superb, but I can't help to notice that the price on these has sky rocketed at least $10-$15 in the last year or so - you can buy them elsewhere for much cheaper!
