I have 2 of these sheets for my mare, one being nearly 3 years old and the other newer. My mare caught the 3y/o sheet on a swinging gate this morning and put a large rip in the side. While it is still usable after I sew it back up, I took it as a sign to buy a new one. These are the best fly sheet I have found for my sweet itch afflicted mare, the fully removable belly band means it doesn't slide around and it provides the most overall coverage. Will always buy this sheet.

I have a large quarter horse that is highly allergic to any type of bug bites. He is "bad" on a fly sheet and this sheet has held up under 24/7 for almost a year. I live in So. Florida and he does sweat with this sheet during the summer even though he is in a stall under fans but this sheet is worth it. I'm not replacing it very other month.

We have one of these for another horse and it has held up really well!

My trainer told me to get a Weatherbeeta, and this one has the best reviews. Also, I saw it in a local store so I was able to feel the fabric and see it in person first.

A family member has one for her horse and the quality is excellent. He is quite playful and it has held up very well. Looks brand new!
Deborah L on Aug 10, 2018
Reviews indicated it was durable and stayed put on the horses. My current fly sheet shifts on my gelding so was looking for something that would stay in place and last for more than 1 season.

researched reviews found this to be the right style and fit for my horse .I hope it is!

Is this sheet cool enough in temperatures over 70 degrees?
Lida B on Apr 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Fabric is too closed, light air flow, for outside use; in a stall with air flow/fans probably alright still would monitor closely. Sheet is well made and durable but again would monitor wear closely in temperatures 70 plus and especially if humid.
I live in Arizona. 100+ degrees during summer months. Wondering if this sheet will be too hot for my senior mare. Any comments or advice ?
Pamela J on Jul 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: HI Pamela- It's 105 degrees right now here in Temecula and my 16 yr old Paso Fino is wearing his without the neck piece. I check on him and if he gets sweaty I take it off. But for the most part he is able to tolerate the heat. He is bay. My 23yr old mare is white and just stands in the sun, no sun sheet. I don't know how they do it. I check their water and they have shade if they want it. Any place you can put water spray misters?
We may try that next. I worry also and guess it depends on the horse. My only advise is check her often.
I use the sheet due to the nasty flies. Hope helps a little. Good luck. Summer can't be over soon enough. G
