Awesome Hobbles for the price!
These hobbles are well worth the price! They have the roller buckle which I really like, for easy removal. The quality of the latigo is really great though I wish I could find this exact style in regular leather Not latigo as latigo will stretch over time which is why I gave them 4 stars for Durability.

Nice, heavy-duty, quality leather hobble
at a fair price. Have not used this yet (brand new), but it's just like my other two but heavier leather and brass parts. So, I'm looking forward to years of good service.

Sturdy and functional
Very stiff initially but quickly loosened up. I somewhat wish I would have purchased the thinner ones, these are slight overkill but I wanted to err on the side of caution with a very strong mare, and these are nice and strong. Either one would be fine (I borrowed the thinner ones before buying these).

Just received and are a Christmas present
Everything appears to be just what I ordered. Durability unknown since they are a gift and have not been used yet.

Was as advertised
The hobbles worked very well, easy to put on and take off, strong enough so not much fight.

Durable and easy to use.
I've had several sets of these and they have lasted me for years. I prefer the thicker ones as they don't seem to rub or slip off as easy. I loop them around my horses necks when out on the trail so they are convenient to take with me. We use these to free graze our horses in the mountain meadows on pack trips. Couldn't live without them!

Ordered the 1 3/4 inch hobbles previously. Although I'm very please with the product, I didn't realize how wide they are. Almost sent them back, but just decided to order the 1 inch in addition to the others.

Hello , do these fit any horse over 14 hh ?
Maryanne R on May 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I found the 1" version be too short for a couple of my horses (both at 16 hands; one was a paint/draft mix). Not only were they difficult to put on due to the length, even on the 'first hole' they caused both horses to have their hooves much narrower than their normal stance (shoulder width apart). This made it more difficult for the horses to balance and move than longer hobbles I've used. For any horse under 15.2, these hobbles are well constructed and should work fine.
Is this for one or two hobbles?
Moody S on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If the question is about price - that's for one set of hobbles. At least, that's what I paid.
