I like the buckle bit attachment. Easier to change out, less likely to break, I hope.

Is there a matching breast collar?
A shopper on Nov 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I haven't seen one anywhere, but she has designed a lot of tack so they may make one.
what reins match this headstall ?
Connie L on Oct 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Stacy Westfall reins--other ones from Weaver are a slightly different color.
Is the headstall more like a darker oak ? I need more like dark brown
Sabrina C on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is not a dark brown, more of a mid range with white stitching. It is soft, pliable leather. I have a smaller headed qtr horse and fits well with adjustments. Particularly like the buckle closures for the bit.
Would this fit a 14.1 hand quarter horse?
Kelly M on Sep 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have used this on my daughters 14.3 quarter horse that is very petite and built more like a Arab cross than a quarter horse, but have also used it on another daughters horse that is 15 H and built like a tank. I did add another hole to it for the smaller horse though.
How do you size this for the horse?
A shopper on May 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use it on a 14.2hh Haflinger mare that fits anything from a Cobb flymask to a std horse halter/bridle and it fits, but I had to punch a couple of holes. I'd say it was on the generous size of horse and would probably fit a large horse/oversize with ease. It's a very pretty bridle and has held up
very well for the year I've been using it-- it's well made.
My QH gelding is 16h and has a very large head. The "average" bridle sizes won't fit him. I am having a really hard time finding one. Should this one?
Kelsey T on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Although I use this on my 14.2hh Haflinger, I actually think it would also fit your gelding. It is on the last holes in both sides and I had to punch an additional hole in the bottom buckles that attach to the bit to get it to fit her. My only concern might be the browband, but it's pretty roomy on her as well. I think this might work for you. It's a really nice bridle too (and nice matching reins)... I'm VERY happy with it!
Does this headstall match the Stacy Westfall protack split reins? The color of the reins are much lighter in person than in the picture, so I'm wondering if the picture of the headstall is true to color.

BEST ANSWER: Mine matched perfectly. This set is not dark, but butter soft and nice color. The headstall picture is the truer color. Great quality leather and looks.
What is length measurement of browband? Susan
A shopper on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Browband is 17"
Will this headstall fit through spaces in a hackamore?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would think so, but the conchos on the crown may not make it possible if your hackamore is already snug. If you have some wiggle room underneath of it while it is on your horse I would say yes. The conchos are medium sized I wouldn't consider them large. Love this headstall by the way it is very good quality!
