I don't mean to be a whiner but this product has so disappointed me.
This ball is no where near the quality I expected and there is no way it could stand up to normal conditions as a horse training piece of equipment.

My horse likes it
I have only 1 horse and he gets bored so I hoped the large ball would interest him for self exercise and something new to do, it worked! He briefly bolted when I bounced the ball but came right back to check it out.The ball is holding up to his trying to bite it and his front leg kicks. Except it took an air compressor to get enough air into it, it seems like a good investment and I'm glad I took the chance on it.

Fun for the horse
This is my second SW ball. I do think its a great for densensitizing the horse and also for them to gain confidence. The sad part is I think the chickens may have poked a whole in it. I hope this one doesnt loose air. We are down to 3 chickens instead of 10 so maybe we have a chance. I wonder if there is a patch kit for it? I got the blue one for our 15.1 hand horses. You may want the larger one, in case they trip over it.

Deflates quickly, punctures easily
My two year old gypsy vanner stallion loved playing with the large training ball. Unfortunately, it seemed to lose air quickly and he was soon able to get his teeth into it and pop it. He had so much fun with it for a short period of time but now I have to search for a patch kit as I won't spend another 60 plus dollars on a replacement.

Good Destining
I've liked using this product as a desensitizing aid on my yearling! It gives me something to roll under her, bounce next to her, and kick along side her as we're trotting/walking! Overall it's a great product - 4 stars for quality because it seems to lose air a bit more than expected!

Thsi helps a horse get confident. They also like to play with them. I wish they were a little bit better made. I have not used my new one yet, but think the chickens may have poked a whole in my frist one. I would give it a 7 out of 10.

sorry to ask but how is this different from a yoga ball looks a lot like it. New to horses and still asking a lot of questions?
patricia R on Nov 11, 2013
BEST ANSWER: This ball is different from a yoga ball becauss it is a touger kind of plastic, so the horses cannot pop it as easily.
I need the cover for the large red ball. where can I find the right one?

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not carry the covers. However, they can be purchased directly from Weaver. Click the link below!
