Great for phone or water bottle, excellent value, meh color
Super handy for holding a phone (which it does very securely) or water bottle. They installed easily onto the breastcollar ring on both my adult saddle and the kids’ saddle. I wish it came in a color that matched my light oil saddle. The brown is a weird color that doesn’t match anything.

Saddle pockets!
You can stuff a surprising amount of stuff in these! They attach very securely to the flank billets. I keep one on each side of all our saddles. Very handy! Keeps bug wipes, a stirrup extender, EMT 1st aid gel, bandaids, etc, within reach.

Good for holding cutters
This works well for carrying trimmers on the trail. There is a Velcro flap that keep coming unstuck and I wish it was big enough for my S'well bottle but overall it's pretty handy.
Perfect for what I wanted!
I was looking for a handy place to carry my hand-pruner - I trail ride a lot and need to trim the small branches that are at face level and the stickers that brush my legs. This pouch is the right size for the pruner and the velcro is plenty secure. Attached to the flank D and strap, it's handy but not in the way Durability: 5
This also works great for water bottle holder.Mine is now 15 years old and it works as good as the day I bought it. Durability: 5
Small
Was really too small to be of much help. Was difficult to find a place to attach it to my hornless saddle. I returned this item to SLT.
Handy item
I had been looking for an easier way to carry my water bottle when I ride. I find horn bags too cumbersome. This little carrier was just the ticket. It fits snugly on my flank cinch and is easy to reach. I wish it were a bit longer for a standard 16 oz water bottle, but I can adapt for the convenience! Durability: 4
Doesn't seem to want to stay on when galloping around but then it is Velcro. I am adding some buttons to hopefully keep it attached to the saddle. It is a great idea just wish it would stay on better. Durability: 4
multi use
I bought one at a store, then got a couple more here. Found that they kept getting taken off my saddles for use on the 4 wheeler and Motorcycles. They work great for everything. Definitely a must have.
very handy and never flops around
I use these bags for 8 or 9 years now, the ones on my saddle did hold up many years and I LOVE them for water bottles and nic nacs. However, people that are a bit clumsy getting off and on the horse tend to catch the bags with their legs while mounting/unmounting and the seams that hold the velcro in the back come lose in a heartbeat. I gave up using them for guests but they are worth it to me to replace after a few years after they are worn out (heavy items like watter bottles or radios tend to break the seams after a while too).
Great product
I bought this hoping I would like it an love it. Large enough to hold all I need but never in the way. I will be buying more as gifts for all my trail riding friends.

Does it have a snap on it?
BEST ANSWER: Mine does not have a snap nor the "string" as seen in the picture. Not sure it would be of much use on my english saddle, but it works well and out of the way on the D ring and flank strap. It holds my iPhone+ snuggly with room for other small items - hoof pick, cash, granola bar, horse treats. If I don't put my iPhone+ in it, I can fit a 16.9 oz water bottle with room for a hoof pick and some cash or the smaller iPhone). Lots of velcro to figure out other places to attach.

No, all Velcro. But, very heavy duty Velcro. I have two, one for each saddle and have never had them come off.....and have put them through a LOT! Thick brush, miles of gaiting on one horse, miles of trotting on the other. It keep my handheld clippers and a pair of gloves in it, so it holds a pretty heavy load. I highly recommend it!
No snap. It's an all-velcro enclosure. I've never had an issue with them. Everything stays secure for me. I love these so much that I buy extras and give them to my riding friends because they are so handy.
No it does not have a snap - just a velcro strap that comes up over the top - these work great to keep my larger hoof pic and phone in!
No, but I bought clips and slid then threw the velcro straps. I have mine clipped on my english saddle to put my phone in when I ride.
No snap. It has Velcro. I've been using these for many years. Great for gloves, sunglasses, bottled water, ect.
No snap. All closures and attachments are Velcro.
No it has a Velcro flap that goes over the top
