Awesome bit for transitioning from a snaffle bit. Used it on 16.3 warmblood and she responded very well and loved it.
Susan C on Nov 15, 2016
Needed a mild bit for one of my horses, he seems to like it much better than his old snaffle.

What is the mouth piece made out of? On other websites it states it's sweet iron but in the comments below people are saying it's not.
Ashely W on Jan 17, 2014
Best Answer: I have two of these bits. I ride one on an arab and one on a quarter horse and they both are very comfortable with them. My bits have a stainless steel mouth not a sweet iron.

Do these bits run wide? I know it says 5", but some brands run wider. I could use the extra room.
M N on Dec 16, 2015
Best Answer: Hello. I purchased this bit and it seemed standard to me. (5") I loved this bit when I first bought it. Unfortunatly it wore out fast and the shanks rusted and no longer turn appropriatly.

Does the curve go towards the front or the back? The dots are decorative?

Best Answer: This bit is as close as you can get to a $100 low port Myler. It is made correct, and curves correctly.

The product summary and photo do not seem to match. The summary states there are ss dots and that is not visible in the photo. Does this bit have stainless steel mouth and shanks?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2016
Best Answer: Yes it does have the SD dots. They are not the outside lower shank. Yes it is stainless steel. I use this on my sorting horse and seems to work well
