I took my 3 year old to a rodeo over the summer and he loved the roping! Has been asking for a cow, a rope, and a horse ever since! This is the closest we can get to that at the moment and I think he is going to love it!

Jackson at 6 is trying to rope anything in sight, so this will keep him away from his sister and the cats! I am the grandmother and I know his mother will thank me!

2 Grandsons. The one that lives in PA wants to be a roper(he's 3) and we live on a cattle farm here in IN and I'm sure the other grandson(he's 3 also ) will put his to good use.

Has good reviews also.

The Grand Baby is throwing every kind of rope she can find and roping anything that moves. She can even rope a chicken. So thought she should have a desent rope to throw. Santa forgot to bring one.

What is the appropriate age for the Western junior rope set?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I bought 2 of these sets for my 3yo & 8yo for Christmas gifts so they have not had a chance to use them yet. The only thing I see that maybe a tiny issue is that the glove that comes with it would fit a small adult. It is not child sized. I would say though that an appropriate age range seemw to be between 3yo &10yo depending on skill level and use.
Is this steer head universal to any roping dummy?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes! We purchased it for our 8 year old son. He has enjoyed practicing on it with the head shoved in a straw bale!
