Works well on my horse. Short curved shank is just
enough pressure for light hands. Like the copper roller and hinged easy movement of bit.

Use this bit for drill team. Horse goes well in it. Needed extra. And a fantastic price!

Wanted to try this style of bit without paying too much. I liked the dots on the side.

Can a curb chain be used with this bit? If so how ill it change its effectiveness?
A shopper on May 30, 2015
Best Answer: I purchased this bit a couple of years ago, and I have used a curb chain with it always. My horse is very responsive, but he has never appeared uncomfortable. I ride with a light to medium hand. The curb chain has not interfered with the independent action. The bit has held up well with no pinching. This horse had only 90 days training when I first got him and this is the only bit we have used.

Will this bit work for doing reining on a 15 year old horse?
Sissy on Sep 10, 2015
Best Answer: I can't tell you much about tack rules on what is acceptable, but this bit works really well on a variety of horses and mules due to the fact it is hinged in the middle to help lift shoulders in case you need to use one rein. It is a well balanced bit and a go to for me with all of my finished horses and mule.

Would this bit work well for a gaited horse?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2016
Best Answer: That completely depends on what you do with your horse, training level, and current needs. It's basically a Myler MB33 rip off at a fraction of the cost. I find it comfortable for the horse as it curves over the tongue and doesn't collapse to pinch bars or tongue, nor does it hit the horse in the pallet. It's a mild mouthpiece with medium length independent sides for precision work, a great choice for your average horse. A horse with a low pallet or large tongue will thank you!

Samantha P on Mar 4, 2015
Best Answer: I'm sorry, this item is only available with a 5" mouth. We are unable to special order additional sizes. For larger sizes, check out the bits on the link below.
