Will regular stirrup leather work or are the wintec rubber ones required?
Terry P on Sep 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, regular stirrup leathers work.
How long is the flap of this saddle? Would it work for a very short rider only 4'11" ?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The flap is about 40 cm. Hard to say if it will fit your ride.
Will I need a dressage saddle pad since it requires a dressage girth? Or will an all-purpose saddle pad do just fine?
A shopper on Apr 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Most likely you will need a Dressage pad.
If I am 5’1” tall and weigh 150 pounds what size seat would fit me best for the pro endurance?

I'm 5.6" and 136 lbs.
would a 17.5" work?
Kathy B on Feb 24, 2019
I am 5'9' @ 160#. Used to 16" western. What size wintec endurance pro likely is best for me? Saddle will be used on hills.
A shopper on Feb 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If your Western seat size is 16", then you probably need an 18" or 19" in an English saddle.
How do you adjust the "adjustable Y rigging girth system"?
debby on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's not adjustable. That describes the configuration of the rigging for the girth. The Y configuration (in theory) helps when tightening the girth to keep the saddle balanced and fitted properly. (Seems to achieve the goal.) It still has two billets to connect the girh.
Is there a way to shorten the girth tabs? I can't find a short girth that will fit my horse (Mustang).
debby on May 23, 2018
what type saddle pad is used with this saddle?
A shopper on Apr 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I am using either a fleeceworks pad or a toklat woolback pad.
does this saddle accomodate the wide gullet change sytem ? I am reading that you need a wintec wide saddle to accomodate...
Paddi H on Feb 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You are correct, in order to utilize the wide gullet change system you would need a Wintec wide saddle.
Is there a rider weight limit for wintec endurance?
Lisa R on Sep 18, 2017
What type of girth do you recommend with this saddle. I have a 32 western what size would I need in english?
Steven W on Apr 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This saddle takes a dressage style girth. A size 32 Western cinch will "probably" mean a size 22 or 24 dressage girth.
This question is about the Wintec pro endurance saddle. Are the saddle blocks restrictive on your legs and are they soft or hard blocks ?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The front blocks are adjustable. When I first set them, I put them down (towards my leg) at the lowest setting thinking that is what I needed since I am a shorter rider, 5'2". In this position I found they put my leg at an uncomfortable angle. I moved them up to about half way and adjusted the stirrup setting to put the strap about half way back the allowable movable distance and it is very comfortable now. The rear block is not adjustable which is fine. I was looking for more support for the front of my leg since this is where I am less secure. The blocks themselves are quite firm but padded. I like this saddle very much. The first time I had it on my horse he was feeling a bit frisky after a long winter of no riding and gave a few happy bucks, hops, skips and jumps and I stayed on no problem, yay! This saddle served its purpose for me, a more secure seat for a mature rider!

I am 5'4" tall and weigh 180 pounds. Will an 18" seat fit me in a Wintec Pro Endurance saddle with the Cair system?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, 18" is the best choice. Do not buy a smaller seat saddle.
how do I know what size saddle to order? I'm male 6' tall not over weight.
Norv V on Dec 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Here is a calculation to approximate your seat size: Sit in a position so that your upper leg is at a right-angle to your lower leg, then measure your upper leg length ...from the back of your buttock to the tip of your knee.
Upper Leg Length Approx. Seat Size
Up to 16 1/2" 15" seat
Up to 18 1/2" 16" seat
Up to 20" 16 1/2" seat
Up to 21 1/2" 17" seat
Up to 22" 17 1/2" seat
Up to 23" 18" seat
It may also be helpful for you to first sit in similar style saddles to see how each size feels.
I ride a 16" - 17" seat in a western saddle. What size is comparable in this endurance saddle. Also, I'm 5'10" so what size stirrup leathers is appropriate? Dennis
A shopper on Nov 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Stirrup Leathers 42 --- Child's
Stirrup Leathers 48 --- Youth up to 5'2"
Stirrup Leathers 54 --- 5'2" - 5'6"
Stirrup Leathers 57 --- 5'7" - 5'9"
Stirrup Leathers 60 --- 5'10" - 6'0"
Stirrup Leathers 64 --- 6'0" +
-This is a general size guide. If you have very long legs, the sizes may vary.

This saddle has an english style seat, if you're a 16"-17" western, you would need a 19"-20" english.
