someone took my riser pad and I borrowed this from a friend today. It worked great!
Obviously I need my own. She had white which shows dirt so I ordered black. (also I have a black horse and saddle).

My new horse has a low back and high hips, causing my saddle to slide forward. I had a decades old pad of this type that had been damaged due to my neglect. This pad keeps the saddle off my horse's shoulders and is very comfortable for me . I imagine my horse is feeling the same softness.

I have a high withered Thoroughbred that I am having difficulty saddle fitting. Hoping this will give me enough rise in front that my saddle will fit better.

Horse I am riding is a sweet little mustang with no withers at all. She needs a bit of cushioning and I think this might do the trick.

I need to fit a saddle better to my Icelandic and this will fill the small gap by his shoulders

My horse has narrow shoulder and high withers. This will hold the saddle higher, however I have not tried it yet. other reviews were positive and described just what I needed.

Love this pad for my low back horse. It keeps the saddle from digging into her shoulders and the raised spine keeps the saddle level. The foam is perfect not too soft or hard. I have not had a long time so I don't know who well it holds up yet or how hot it migt get in the summer. But it does have ventiation holes so I am hoping that it will be fine.

I have a horse with narrow wither and need to lift saddle off his withers, also another old horse with a sway back, hoping this might work for him too to fill in the void. The reviews were very helpful and helped to make my decision to purchase this pad.

This is a very good product, if your horse has high withers.

Its the perfect saddle pad for my 3 year old gelding who is extremely butt-high. It levels out my saddle so my weight isn't pressing into his shoulders and withers

Is this pad sure to lift the saddle off the withers? My horse travels downhill and I need a lift to make it even with the back.
Marissa B on Jan 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Marissa,

I bought this pad for my 30 year old QH. He has a VERY high and wide wither and due to age he started hollowing out behind the wither. No saddle would fit him, they all seemed to tilt forward and down, throwing my hips out and pitching me forward. I tried this to basically fill in that hollow space and it worked great and basically tilted the saddle back a bit. It seemed to work well. I hope this will help you.
My dressage saddle rides up on my ponies shoulder. He has a very wide back. I have used a crupper but it keeps pulling out of my saddle. Would this help to keep my saddle from sliding forward?
Kathy R on May 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't think this pad would work. I would use a thinner saddle pad with a dimpled, grippy backing to help hold the saddle pad and saddle in place. Too much padding will cause a saddle on a wide backed horse to rock side to side as well. Using a well fitted breast collar AND crupper helps. Check to see if the tree on your saddle is wide enough to fit your baby and the girth remains tight throughout your ride.
I have a barrel horse that has a calcium deposit on the left side of his withers. I am in need of a lift pad. I am wondering if this is the one. He just can not turn to the left without the hurt. Will this pad help??. Keva
Keva N on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I actually don't think this lift pad would help. It does lift, but it is decently hard, so even if it lifted the saddle off the calcium deposit, I still think it would put pressure on the calcium deposit, making it hurt the same, or potentially even worse. I would think that you would likely want to provide a cushion, so consider a gel pad or one of the sheepskin pads.
Which pad is better the wintic pad or this one?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello , I did purchase the wintec comfort lift but found it did not work for my saddle issue and I thought they were to firm . I then purchased the Roma lift pads they are in my opinion the best , they are quality made and don't slip out and will help cushion your horses back I have one to lift front and one to lift back depending on the horse and saddle fit problem . Hope that helps !
WILL THIS FIT A WESTERN SADDLE? IF NOT WHAT WILL?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have a Sharon saare round skirt western style saddle and it works for me. My arab has conformation issues and is somewhat sway in the back. I use another pad underneath that has shims for the sway issue. I put the riser in the top. So far it has been the only thing that has worked for my horse. Karen
Can this be used with a western saddle?
Alisha T on Mar 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! I use it with a western saddle on top of the saddle blanket but under the saddle. If you put it directly on the horse it causes a pressure line all the way around and also made my horse sweat profusely. It does stand up to a lot of wear, I've had mine for 2 years and it's still good.
