(1) While holding plunger, turn the knurled ring on the plunger ¼ turn to the left and slide it so the side nearest the barrel is at the prescribed weight marking.
(2) Lock the ring in place by making a ¼ turn to the right.
(3) Make sure that the horse’s mouth contains no feed.
(4) Remove the cover from the tip of the syringe.
(5) Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth at the space between the teeth.
(6) Depress the plunger as far as it will go, depositing paste on the back of the tongue.
(7) Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing.

Parasite Control:
ZIMECTERIN® GOLD Paste is a potent antiparasitic agent that is neither a benzimidazole nor an organophosphate.

Rotated with Quest Plus wormer addresses more types of worms than ANY de-wormer on the market today!! For years I had been doing the traditional rotation of dewormers but my horses started looking poorly..after some research I discovered rotating ZIMECTRIN GOLD with QUEST 'PLUS' GEL was the way to address ALL parasites..a MUST for horses in pasture!!

What is the minimum weight for this product? Can it be used for ponies?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have used it for my welsh ponies for years. Just dose for the appropriate weight. If you have Mini's or really small ponies, I would check with your vet on dosage. I'm not sure weight tapes are accurate for the really little guys. My vet recommends this particular wormer for getting strongyles (II and IV) as well as tapeworms.
Can i use this for my dog?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Since the description on the products mentions it could be lethal to dogs, I would consult you veterinarian. Karen
Does this wormer treat bots?
A shopper on Oct 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I use this product in the fall after the first freeze to control bots as well as other parasites
Is there a shelf life for the wormer, should it be kept in the refrigerator?
Roy S on May 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There should be an Expiration Date on the box. Which just basically means the Freshness date. I believe it can still be used after that date.. I've never refrigerated mine and they've been in the Tack Room up to a year. Hope this helps
