Not for daily wear. Not well built
Didn’t last long. Splint came they material and could no longer safely use them after daily wear of about 3 weeks.

Great purchase, great price!
My horse is a 16.3hh TB, so he has some pretty long legs! I love that these boots are longer to accommodate! He is also super sensitive to flies and tends to stomp really he's. With these boots, there is significantly less stomping! (#savethehooves) They are relatively easy to clean and don't seem to cause any discomfort. He has been wearing them 3 weeks now, and no signs of deteriorating. Can't beat the price either!

They stay in place better than any others we've used. I have them for all of my horses.

not bad!!
I got this product in Navy/Silver and was quite pleased. the colors are more rich than in the pictures! i have a 15.3 QH that is built like a athletic sport horse/TB, very fine boned. they are a little loose on her out of the package, and sort of stretch over time. They slip down, especially in wet conditions. if you have a horse under 15.3, I'd heavily recommend getting cob sized, because even if they are a little tight, they will stretch and slip over time. plus, you can always return if it does not work out. one thing that is good about this product is durability. they look like new once you clean them and so far are holding up well. the material they are made of is very nice and breathable, even in the hottest conditions, no sweat, and nice spongy material. The best way to clean out mud and stained spots.: Soak boots in hot water for 15 min. then squeeze out. apply shout stain-lifter abundantly, then let sit for 30 min. rise out and enjoy your boots looking like new.air dry. Comfort: 5 Durability: 4
This product has great features
I like the soft but sturdy material and also the height of the boots. The Velcro is a bit of an overkill and somewhat hard to open. Comfort: 5 Durability: 4
this product is awfull the boots do not stay up i feel that i wasted money i would not recommend this product Comfort: 1 Durability: 1
Used to be a great product but sadly disappointed this time
I have bought these fly boots in the past (several years ago) and loved them! They were the only boots my pasture puff couldn't destroy. When my new show horse started getting scabs on his stockings from flies and the sun I decided to go back to my brand of choice, Amigo. Very disappointed this time around! The fit has always been loose on these but the Velcro is not nearly as strong as it used to be and they now seem to be made of a different softer, less durable fabric. The first day he lost one completely. One week in a strap came off of a different boot but I was able to locate the piece and sew it back on. Day after that another strap had completely disappeared. Two days later he came up wearing no boots. Please note that these boots were not "used and abused". The were taken off and checked every night, repaired if necessary, and put back on in the morning. I will be finding another favorite brand! Comfort: 5 Durability: 1
Work well with supports for shape
These work nicely, I appreciate the metal supports that help them keep shape. They were a little big and occasionally moved, which caused the supports to lose shape somewhat. I previously bought a cheaper pair that were I've size fits some and speed using them because they were way too large. These are great, but i might try a smaller size next time for my mare's dainty legs. Comfort: 4 Durability: 5
Amigo products are great
These fly boots are the best ones Ive found. They stay in place and they last. I had a set last year that are now my back up set. I decided to get the cob size for my 15.1 hand Grey TB mare... the horse size is a bit large on her.. the cob size could be a tad longer /taller but they fit the circumference of her leg GREAT. Having these have made a huge difference in the quality of her feet- no more stomping flies!I love Amigo products.. their shipping boots are my favorites also. Comfort: 5 Durability: 5
Really nice and durable
These are much better than I expected. Nice material and really good velcro closures. Seem to twist on the horses. One is 1200 lbs and the other is 1000 lbs. These are really nice and the horses don't mind them at all once they got used to them. The horse flies definitely can't bite through these. I got them to see if the horses would stop stomping to save their hooves and it is working. We don't have a fly problem, but the horse flies are mean this time of year. Comfort: 5 Durability: 5
Great fit
Never slide down and I LOVE the Velcro straps on them. Comfort: 5 Durability: 4
I bought this brand specifically because I have had such great success with their fly masks. But ended up returning these after a few weeks because they wouldn't stay up. I was constantly have to reposition/pull up. Needs more Velcro for adjustments, maybe stiffer seams would help keep them up? I am going to continue my search... Comfort: 3 Durability: 3
I like that these fly boots are tall. I have a Tennessee Walking Horse, 16.2 hands and they fit well and clean off easily. Seem to be durable. The velcro sticks very well. My only issue is I wish the material was a bit lighter so air could get through. His legs seem to be sweating. Comfort: 5 Durability: 5
Keeps the flies off
They run small but I read that in another review. My 13.1 hh pony fits easily into the pony size and my 15 hh horse the cob size are just a touch big. My sensitive horse does not mind them and they seem to be taking a beating well. Look like they could be hot as they are not just fly mask material but my girls have not had a problem sweating at all under them. Overall I would buy these again. Comfort: 5 Durability: 4
poor workmanship; quality
I love the way they are shaped to fit. They run very tall, but found the width to be too large for a normal horse's leg. In order to get them to fit snuggly enough to keep the flies out, there is not enough velcro to hook to. The overlap of the wrap then stuck way out to the side, as excess with no velcro to hook to. The stitching where the velcro is attached started to ravel after one wk of wearing, even though I removed them at night. The mesh material itself showed signs of wear after only 2 wks. The horse that wore these is almost 30 yrs. old and does not mover around much. I returned these boots after just 3 wks. Comfort: 3 Durability: 1
best I've tried
soft and stay up,strong velcro, dry out quickly with all the rain. fit close Comfort: 5 Durability: 4
Contoured fit, stay up, stay on and look great!
Great boots! Love the fit, taller than most boots which is nice. They don't fall down, twist or come off. Nice soft material, doesn't trap heat and no bugs can bite through, plus the Velcro closure wraps slightly so no openings for smarter bugs! Horse looks flashy wearing them. Won't ever go back to one boot fits any leg again!! Comfort: 5 Durability: 5

They are very well made and have held up exceptionally well. My only difficulty is keeping them from slipping down. I think I need to make them tighter, but I'm worried about getting them too tight.
These fly boots are a set of four.

Can these be worn while trail riding or round pen warm-ups?
BEST ANSWER: I use them only for turn out. But they are stretchy and could be put on snug. But as they are light and breathable they wouldn’t provide tendon support. And I would remove them and check legs and maybe put powder under to avoid ribs while using. They do turn a bit during turnout.

I always take them off because the flys don’t bother the legs when the horse is moving and I don’t want to risk some chafing while the horse is in motion with them.
I believe you could. They stay on well and pretty much like having polo wraps
I do not have them my horse when doing any kind of riding at all.
