These rear cinch sets are awesome! They work with any saddle and are made well except for the little clip breaks - I just put a new one on.

Victoria J on Jan 20, 2014
Looking for a nice flank cinch for my Crates saddle on my buckskin mare while doing ground work. This looks like what I need, and the all the reviews made it sound too good to pass up for the price! I like that it has a connector strap, and it comes in brown, which will match my saddle.
LISA F on Jan 3, 2014
Aforementioned friend's horse doesn't get ridden enough, so he got fat this past fall. Fortunately his rear girth now fits him again (I told her to dole out the hay, and quit giving him ANY grain!) but I anticipate we may have the same trouble in the future once the grass comes in again. I just hope these are bigger than the ones on his saddle now, but, if not, for that price, not much risked.

Mckenna B on Feb 20, 2019
Would this go small enough to fit a pony?
Terri on Jun 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Depends on how fat he is. It works great for my large horses.
I don’t know how to attach it to the saddle?
Cindy M on Jun 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It's easy. Just unbuckle it, slip the latigo out of the keep at top, slide the latigo though either the ring or the slot on the back of the saddle skirt, slip it back through the keep at top, then rebuckle it to the belly strap. it will be obvious when you get it in you hands.
How long are billets?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I can’t give you an exact measurement and there was none on the packaging so this flank cinch was a “standard” size. My horse is a Arab but he’s got a nice round barrel like a Quarter Horse. The flank cinch is almost too small on him! I’ve got it on the last hole. But it does fit.
How long is the strap that attaches to the cinch?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The straps coming down off the back D ring are 18 1/2 in and the belly part from buckle to buckle is 39 inches. I ride a 16 hand TWH I put one more hiole in the down straps to give me adjustment to 21/2 to 3 inches space between cinch and horse. It works great. As is it gave me about 1 and 1/2 inch space.
Just got this. How is the billets suppose to connect to the saddle? My saddle does have the rings on it.
Miya J on Oct 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unbuckle the billets from the center part. Once they're free, slide the ends out of the horizontal keepers so you can re-tuck them in around the rear dee rings on the saddle & re-attach the middle cinch part.
How long is the actual main cinch without the side straps? I need 36 " and the ones I have seen are 34
Ann M on Dec 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Ann, the center section is 33" of nylon webbing plus the buckles brings it to 37 inches at the very top end of the buckle roller.. I had the same issue finding a large enough flank strap for my big paints.
You might already know this, but the side attachment pieces hang 18" from the saddle attachment loop. I didn't measure it flat, but I am using it on a simple western saddle.
Aloha,
Val B
Hope this helps!
What is a thumb pull snap ?
A shopper on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is the snap that connects the rear flank cinch o the front cinch, keeping it from sliding back into rear haunches causing the horse to buck and go wild as a rodeo horse. Bucking bronco's are cinched in their rear flanks to make em buck. This thumb pull snap just connects front and rear cinches to keep you safe from wild bucking etc.
Would this fit a thoroughbred?
breanna on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This item is not sized by breed Adjustable Horse size. Measures approx 67 1/4" end to end from middle hole.
Does It Come With The Off-Billets?
A shopper on Sep 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: What you see is what you get, it fit on my Australian saddle just fine. I'm not sure what an off billet is.
what type on snap is on the end of it?
A shopper on Jul 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you are asking about the cinch divder, it is a thumb pull snap
if you extend this product to the longest it can go, will it reach 73 inches ??
Diane M on Jun 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have a black one and a brown one, I thought they were the "same" but... The black is 70" at it's longest holes, not including any parts of the saddle and there is about 6" between the longest hole and the end of the strap... so you could add extra holes and make this one work... However, the brown is 66" at it's longest holes, not including any parts of the saddle, and there is only about 4.5" between the longest hole and the end of the strap. Obviously, your the product you actually receive may vary...
How do I attach the top of this rear cinch strap to the saddle? I can't quite figure it out.
Stewart on Dec 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: We actually had to fasten it our own way because, like you, we couldn't figure out how to hook it to the saddle. Ok first off you have to think more along the lines of a motorcycle saddle bag attachment. The two hookups will goto either side of the saddle in the rear and the center line will go up and hook to the rest of your tack that's there. The loops are right in the saddle. Look at it as a "Y" Two thick to either side rear and the thinner one goes up front.
