I was in search of a weight gain supplement for my very hard keeper paint mare. She has a sugar sensitivity so that limits the methods for what she needs, so this seemed like a good alternative.

Is this oil cold processed? When oil is heated in processing, it destroys the good qualities you are wanting the oil to achieve.

BEST ANSWER: I'm not really sure but I can tell you that I feed it twice a day to my 32yr old horse and he has had no problems with it and is blump because of it.
He also has NO teeth
It's much better then corn oil
Is this cold pressed oil or chemical extracted?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am not sure. I gave it to my mare every day for about 2 months in order to improve her mane and tail appearance, since it was all scraggly and dry. It really helped. So I don't know what you are trying to accomplish but hope this information helps you.
My horse is a picky eater. He was not one bit interested in rice bran pellets when mixed with his food. Does this have an appetizing flavor?
A shopper on Mar 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: i mix mine with half corn oil.i started out with a small amount & increased slowly. i never used it alone so i don't know if the taste would make him not eat.it took some time for him to get used to having oil on his pellets, but he got used to it.
Are u placing the oil directly onto hay, or onto some other supplement? Thanks
Pamela B on Sep 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Please see label as its stating mixed with feed.
