Product Summary:

Back on Track Therapeutic Mesh Sheet

The Back on Track Therapeutic Mesh Sheet is made of a breathable state-of-the-art Welltex material containing polyester thread embedded with a fine ceramic powder. Designed to reflect your horse's own body-warmth, it creates a soothing far infrared thermal warmth. This effect may increase blood circulation, helping your horse’s muscles recover, stay loose, and become less inflamed, and alleviating pain associated with inflamed muscles and joints.

Useful for injury prevention as well as injury recovery, it’s ideal for horses that show sore backs, tight muscles, arthritic issues, or a tendency to be stiff. Wearing the Therapeutic Mesh Sheet following anything from a trail ride to a showing may help your horse recover and prepare for the next day of competition or exercise. In the warmer months, it may be used 30-45 minutes before exercise to help loosen your horse’s muscles. For optimal results, it should be used anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight. In a short time you will see and feel the results in the way your horse moves and acts.

  • Soothing far infrared thermal heat to help ease pain of horse's stiff, sore, or overused muscles
  • State-of-the-art Welltex fabric which reflects your horse's own natural body warmth
  • Helpful for any horse, but especially those with muscle problems in the shoulder or back
  • Includes two chest buckles, crossing belly surcingles, and tail flap
  • Available in several colors and sizes to fit any horse

Does this run true to size?
Kanoe D on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Love back on track products and they run true to size or a hair longer
Could this be used as a liner underneath a winter/turnout blanket?
shoelace on Oct 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I did this many a time for my cold backed horses. This is an amazing product. Just make sure that you have properly fiollowed Back on Track's suggestions for your horse's gradual acclimation to the product. You can't just use it as an overnight liner if your horse has not had the adjustment period for the product. But when you properly acclimate your horse to the sheet, it works wonders. My daughter's hot and sensitive cold backed Dutch horse tried to unload her daily until we bought the back on track sheet and used it as a blanket liner!! Hope this helps!
How durable is this sheet? My boy lives in a run by himself. Will it hold up?
greengirlgreen on Feb 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I use this blanket on my barrel horses. They have stalls with a run. The blanket has been pretty durable for me, but it is not a turnout blanket. It will not keep them dry. It is not designed to be used that way. I use them the night before shows, stalling at events, or trailering etc. You can turn them out in it but I wouldn't use it as an everyday blanket.
Do these sheets run big?
Maddie C on Apr 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No they don't run big very true to size. But if you are in question they are on the big side of say a 78 compared to the small side.
What is difference In use of mesh sheet vs fleece blanket? Why spend more for mesh sheet?
B M on Nov 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The mesh is lighter and can be used year around. Where as the fleece can only be used certain times. The mesh can even be used under fleece blankets depending on the weather. This sheet is designed to relieve back pain and soreness. This is not used for everyday use as a fly sheet or keeping warm purpose
Do u measure from the center of the chest to the tail???????
Laura on Mar 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Measuring Instructions: Stand your horse as square as possible, measure from the center of chest around side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If the horse ends up measuring between sizes always round up to the next size to ensure full coverage.
