Love these! I've had these for several months and use them 4-5 days a week. They stay in place and protect my mare's legs. Highly recommend.

my horse has never worn boots on fetlocks , what type of boot is good for protection trail riding, and lunging?
Thanks
Brenda

BEST ANSWER: We put these on our 2 year old gelding after he got a splint while we were lunging him. They are easy to put on and say in place. The inside section is padded and offers nice protection. Our Gelding is 5 now and we still put these on him.
can i buy size large for hinds?
A shopper on May 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, these boots work great both front and hind. I have a 1/2 draft horse that wears large front and hind, but for a more average sized horse, medium on front and large on hind should work well.
Do these boots attract burrs and stickers?
LYSSA D on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've had these boots for almost a year. We've gone on many rugged trail rides and I haven't had a problem with burrs or stickers. They clean up easily and stay on.
Can these be used for jumping? I'm looking for low cost jumping boots.
Rachel C on Sep 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Although many jumping boots have an open front so the horse feels it if they touch a fence rail, these full boots could certainly be used during jumping if desired. Keep in mind the protective padding is concentrated at the splint area along the cannon bones.
I have a 14.3 Arab mare. Will medium fit her and protect her inner fetlocks?
A shopper on Jul 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Good morning;
I purchased these boots for a fantastic budget price in 2014. I am still using them. I have a 16.2 TB mare, who could use a large but as I recall upon purchasing, I believe it was only size medium available. I think these will work for you. Due to the Velcro, these brush boots can be overlapped when velcroing. Good luck!
Are these boots waterproof?
Rachel K on May 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They are not "water proof", no boots on the market are but they are great for lower level cross country (intro through Novice), trail riding, dressage schooling etc. I have had a pair in black for about 2 years and they are now wearing out after heavy use (2+ horses 6 days a week).
Can these be used as rear boots?
Rachel C on Sep 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These boots can be used on either front or rear legs. Keep in mind, however, that if your horse wears a medium in front, these boots may be too small for the hinds.
