Good grip and light weight. Allows me to work on my personal form and develop more muscle tone and balance while riding.

Needed a nice bareback pad for my daughter to ride around in
Michelle D on Jul 30, 2014
Based on 3 other riders at my stable, this came highly recommended and upon first use, it was everything I expected! The entire pad is soft and supportive with just the right amount of cushion. Balanced and comfortable - fits my Azteca perfectly. No slip & girth is wide & quality materials overall for the price.

I'm hoping that this pad is worth the money I just spent on it

can you attach stirrups?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No and probably don’t want to as would be dangerous
How thick is it?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: About 3/4" but it has a sturdy rubberized layer on the bottom (where it contacts the horse blanket or horse) that increases the cushioning.
I am looking for a bareback pad to use on a pony 14.1. I bought a tokat and it is too big as it hangs a little over his croup. Does this one come in a pony size (24" total width)?

How much does it weigh? Thanks
Rocky on Jan 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This pad is very light weight. I don't know the exact weight but it is very light. It appears to be well constructed and it very comfortable to ride in. I think my mare and i are really going to enjoy it, especially in the hot Texas summers.
I have found that the handle is sometimes uncomfortable on bareback pads, how is this one for comfort?
Kathleen H on Nov 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Honestly I didn't even remember it had a handle until I went and looked at it! So I'd say that the handle isn't uncomfortable. If any part of the bareback pad is slightly uncomfortable it would be the buckles under your leg, but now that it's broken it I don't notice it anymore.
does this bareback come with the non slip girth?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The girth has the same non-slip material that is on the bottom of the pad. Very durable. This was my second purchase and my first one has lasted for years. My friend uses it now.
I purchased this bareback pad and while it is comfortable, it's really not designed for big people. Does this come in a larger size?
Denise R on Aug 5, 2015

I need a shorter girth strap for this pad for our pony, is there one available?
Jean P on Oct 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately the shortest this will adjust to is 61 inches.
Is this a good size for ponies and horses who are just under 15 hands?
codygirl on Sep 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The girth has quite a bit room for adjustment and the seat seems a good fit for small horses too. It molds to you and your mount! We love this pad at my stable.
Does this pad come with a girth and if so, what is it like - Material and rigging?
Varada V on Feb 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it comes with a nice, padded pimple-grip girth which can be buckled from either side.

I have a 15hh robust-bellied QH, and there is substantial room (holes) on the billets (which are nylon) on each side of the pad to adjust for much bigger horses.

The top side of the pad is a faux suede, and the bottom of the pad is a rubber pimple-like grip surface.

I LOVE this pad! It is soft and substantial, but I am still able to feel my horse under it.

It is also very easy to clean; I just throw it on the driveway and brush lightly over it and hose it off and hang it to dry.
