Product Summary:

Blocker Tie Ring II Stainless Steel
The Blocker Tie Ring has changed the way people tie their horses. It provides a safe, humane way to tie your horse. Designed to be a support system rather than a restraint system, the Tie Ring allows a horse to pull slack in the lead rope when he panics or falls. This releases pressure and the source of pain or panic which dramatically reduces the threat of pain or injury to you and your horse. The Mag-Loc feature holds the tongue in place, making the tie ring more stable so it can be mounted at any height needed.
In addition to cross ties, single ties, grooming and tack areas, trailers, high lines and picket lines, you can also mount the Tie Ring II on hitch rails. The stays on either side of the tongue prevent the tongue from sliding around the ring so your horse can safely pull slack from any angle. The quick snap makes the Tie Ring II even easier to move from location to location.
Product Features:
  • Mounts on hitch rails
  • Mounts at any height with the Mag-Loc Feature
  • Designed to be a support system
  • Humane way to tie your horse
  • Incredibly safe
  • Mag-Loc holds tongue in place
  • Great for teaching a young horse to tie

Been wanting to try this after I had a very unexpected pullback with one of my horses.

I have 2 already. I really like the convenience of these ties and they allow a slight release if horse is startled.

Practically the best thing ever invented for horses and humans. These tie rings have prevented numerous disasters for my horses. We have them all over our farm and inside our horse trailer.

This is such a great tool for horses that pull back or horses that may need to stand unattended for a period of time. It allows the horse to safely pull back but you can also slow them down and use it as a training aid.

My horse's training barn uses the Blocker and they are fast, efficient, and safe. I chose the stainless steel because mine will be hanging outside. Can't wait to use it with my young gelding!

For safety as it allows for choosing multiple levels of rope tension depending on how the rope is used with the tie ring.

safety for my horse, prevent panic
Lisa M on Dec 7, 2016
Nothing beats this for training horses to stand tied. Also safer in the trailer and standing at the trailer.
Diana L on Oct 20, 2016
the blocker tie ring, combined with a regular trailer tie, is what I use for horses that "pull back" when tied.
teri p on Sep 29, 2016
My horse likes to sit back when tied. We have gone threw a few halters, leads, and fence posts. Interested to see if this will help.
Courtney F on Jun 29, 2016
I use these all over the farm and while traveling - don't hard-tie horses anymore - these are wonderful and keep you horses safely tied!
Edie B on May 29, 2016
We want our horses safe at all times. This Blocker Tie Ring allows the horse to pull slack on the lead rope if the horse panics. We saw them several places and everyone recommended them highly. Plus the are much simpler to use than tying a safe Knot on the lead rope.
jeffrey l on May 8, 2016
This is a "must-have" in any barn. I got this one to take with me in my trailer so my baby has the extra freedom to move if he gets in a bind.
Renita P on May 2, 2016
I have recently started to use these tie rings! They are wonderful! I do recommend going with the Stainless so that they need not be replaced.

I purchased this item based friends' reviews for safe tying, trailer side. I chose stainless because as a horseman and sailor "buy once, buy right" is my motto.
Kathleen F on Apr 6, 2015
New horse pulled my original ties out and these are safer, I think.
Rachael S on Feb 11, 2015

Joseph M on Dec 12, 2014
I have two of these we use at the tie post. I bought two more for my trailer. They are nice and helps to release pressure when my mare sets back. I have not used them in the trailer yet. I will once my mare gets comfortable enough to go for a ride!
BEVERLY B on Nov 26, 2014
We have a new horse that has issues being tied, have heard this works wonders.

I bought this item because it gives me a secure place to tie my horse anywhere I choose. I saw this product at the Equine Affaire last year and thought it was great!
Roberta P on Sep 1, 2014

Is this the mag-lock version?
Terri C on Jun 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I believe they are all like that. One time it got caught in my trailer window and the magnet fell out. Had to get a new one. So I make sure I don't close the window on it.
is the stainless significantly better than the chrome plated?
A shopper on Mar 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have not seen any difference between stainless and plated unless you keep it outside in the weather all the time. Then the stainless may be better.
Is this price for 2 ?
Leanne E on Oct 13, 2018

The price is for one Tie Ring. I can tell you they are really nice and I would buy them again. Hope this helps.
