Directions for Use:
It is a violation of Federal law to use this Product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For use only on horses and ponies. Shake well before using.

Mix Repel-Xpe Emulsifiable Fly Spray with water at proper dilution. First put the required amount into sprayer or mixing container. Then add water according to directions and mix thoroughly before using.

Important: Mix fresh solution before each use. Apply with pressure sprayer or you can sponge it on horses. Make sure animal's coat is thoroughly wet. Use approximately 8 oz. for each animal depending on size of horse or pony. Avoid getting solution into the animal's eyes.

Horses: To protect horses from horn flies, house flies, gnats and mosquitoes apply at a 1:7 dilution. Each pint of concentrate makes a gallon of finished spray. Repeat application every 3 to 4 days, or as often as needed. Where horse flies, deer flies (tabanids), stable flies, ticks, or deer ticks, which may transmit Lyme Disease, are a problem, apply a 1:4 dilution and repeat as often as needed.

It works better than any other fly repellent I've ever used. Because it's concentrated, it lasts me quite a while and I have found that it is more effective in repelling flies for a longer period of time.

what size bottle is concentrated?
A shopper on Jun 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: All of them are concentrated. I bought the gallon size for the reduction in price for volume purchase.
can the mixed product be stored or does it need to be used right after mixing it?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. Just shake and use it...no matter how long since you mixed it. I have to say I have 8 horses so I use it up within a couple of days but I'd not hesitate to keep it in a mixed solution for a few weeks.
Is the gallon of Repel X a concentrate?
A shopper on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is a concentrate. It is necessary to mix with water in the proper ratio before use.
How much would the 32oz make??
A shopper on Apr 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It all depends on how concentrated you make it and how often you use it. For me, it lasts a long time and I dilute it different almost every time. The bottle states:

Diluted 1:7 with water, Repel-Xpe provides economical protection from house flies, horn flies, gnats and mosquitoes.

Mixed at 1:4 dilution, kills ticks, horse flies, deer flies and stable flies.
expiration date?
A shopper on Apr 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if there's a printed expiration date, but I lonely use fly spray in the summer and early fall. Any of the concentrate I don't use during that time gets stored in the feed room until the next year. I've never had a problem with it going bad, become less potent, etc.
